Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD AND A CLOUD BASED SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PROJECT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT The present invention provides a cloud based system for CSR project lifecycle management. The cloud based system comprises of an interface device 101, a presentation layer 102 and an application server 103. The interface device 101 provided for accessing the cloud based system by stakeholders 201. The application server 103 includes CSR engines 104. The CSR engines 104 includes a project proposal engine 301 configured for providing templates for project proposal preparation by the stakeholders 201, a project monitoring and execution engine 302 configured for allowing the stakeholders 201 to perform activities regarding project monitoring and execution and an impact assessment engine 303 configured for calculating and assessing the impact created at end of the project execution and thereby facilitating said CSR project lifecycle management using said CSR engines 104. A method for providing CSR project lifecycle management using said cloud based system is also disclosed. Fig. 1.
FIELD OF INVENTION
The embodiments herein generally relate to the field of social project lifecycle management. More particularly, the invention relates to a method and a cloud based system for providing corporate social responsibility (CSR) project lifecycle management by bringing all stakeholders on a single platform. BACKGROUND AND PRIOR ART
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a business approach that
contributes to sustainable development by delivering economic, social and environmental benefits for the society. Moreover, the CSR is a very broad concept that addresses many and various topics relating to eradicating extreme hunger and poverty, promotion of education, promoting gender equality and empowering women, reducing child mortality and improving maternal health, combating human immunodeficiency virus, acquired immune deficiency syndrome, malaria and other diseases, ensuring environmental sustainability, employment enhancing vocational skills, social business projects, contribution to the prime minister's national relief fund or any other fund set up by the central government or the State Governments for socio-economic development and relief and funds for the welfare of the scheduled castes, the scheduled tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women. The CSR project lifecycle management is the digital management concept whereby companies integrate with NGO and other
stakeholders contributing to CSR project for a transparent execution leading to
measurable impact in addressing social and environmental concerns.

The corporate social responsibility management data processing method includes: receiving account information inputted by corporate staff, and distributing corresponding limits of authority to the corporate staff according to the account information; in the corresponding limits of the authority, receiving and processing corporate social responsibility management data/instruments inputted by the corporate staff, and generating messages; and posting the corporate social responsibility management data inputted by the corporate staff and/or the generated messages. Aiming to analyzing and processing the corporate internal data, the processing method and a processing system can be deployed in each corporate. However, the system may not be capable to bring all the stakeholders in a single online platform to manage whole lifecycle of CSR project.
[0004] Therefore, there is a need to develop a cloud-based system for CSR project lifecycle management by bringing all stakeholders on a single platform and thereby bridging information gap and loopholes in the existing CSR project lifecycle management system. Further, there is a need to develop a method for providing CSR project lifecycle management using the cloud-based system.

The interface device is provided for accessing the cloud based system by stakeholders. The presentation layer can be provided for allowing the stakeholders to interact with the cloud based system from the interface device. The Corporates 202 are mainly sponsors of the projects. The NGO 203 are mainly the implementation partners to execute the CSR project. The suppliers 204 are mainly those who supply any material as needed for the project. The CSR Consultant 205 are mainly advisors to the corporates and/or NGO for the project. The CA and Legal Advisors are mainly responsible for CSR compliance. The volunteers are the contributors to the project execution as per their skills. The volunteer includes but not limited to employees, individuals, interns and students. The cloud based system can be used in various verticals that includes but not limited to education, healthcare, sustainability, energy and green.

wherein said presentation layer 102 provided for allowing the stakeholders 201 to view the cloud based system from the interface device 101; characterized in that

wherein said project proposal engine 301 configured for providing templates for project proposal preparation by the stakeholders 201; wherein said project monitoring and execution 302 engine configured for allowing the stakeholders 201 to perform activities regarding project monitoring and execution;
wherein said impact assessment engine 303 configured for calculating and assessing the impact created at end of the project execution; and thereby facilitating said corporate social responsibility (CSR) project lifecycle management using said CSR engines 104.

The cloud based system as claimed in claim 4, wherein said online fund raising engine 306 configured for displaying a list of projects for fund raising 402, providing list of sponsors and partners 405, providing fundraising status dashboard 403, generating notifications and receipts regarding fund raising 404;
wherein said capability snapshot engine 307 configured for generating a score card to indicate performance regarding capability of the NGO 203 in terms of project execution; and
wherein said collaboration engine 308 configured for allowing
communication between the stakeholders 201 by providing
communication tools, wherein said tools include sms, call, mail and chat.

The cloud based system as claimed in claim 5, wherein said project monitoring and execution engine 302 includes a project onboarding module 501, a project details module 502, a project planning module 503, governance management module 504, a volunteer management module 505, a project tracking and execution module 506 and a report management module 507.
7. The cloud based system as claimed in claim 6, wherein said project onboarding module 501 configured for providing CSR strategy details, stakeholder details and project details;
wherein said project details 502 module configured for managing the project details; and
wherein said project planning module 503 configured for providing plurality of resources and stakeholder plans for project planning, task allocation and team mobilization.
8. The cloud based system as claimed in claim 9, wherein said governance
management module 504 configured for allowing the stakeholders 201 to
plan and organise meetings in a structured manner;
wherein said volunteer management module 505 configured for managing volunteers database in terms of various parameters and further configured for allowing the NGO or corporate to assign projects to said volunteers based on said parameters, wherein said parameters includes location of the volunteer, skill set and availability;
wherein said project tracking and execution module 506 configured for providing project plan updates, task allocation updates, status updates for ongoing tasks, meeting updates and further configured for providing directions regarding project execution; and
wherein said report management module 507 configured for managing canned reports 601 and ad-hoc reports 602 regarding annual closure, branding, routine inspection, project monitoring and execution, impact assessment, audit closure, compliance and policy closure. 9. A method for providing corporate social responsibility (CSR) project lifecycle management using a cloud based system; wherein said method comprising:
registering in the cloud based system by stakeholders 201 through an interface device 101;
accessing the cloud based system by stakeholders 201 through the interface device 101;
providing an application server 103 in the cloud based system; characterized in that
wherein said method further comprising,
providing templates to the stakeholders 201 for project proposal preparation;
allowing the stakeholders 201 to perform activities regarding project monitoring and execution 302;
calculating and assessing the impact created at end of the project execution; and thereby facilitating said corporate social responsibility (CSR) project lifecycle management.
10. The method as claimed in claim 9, wherein said method further
comprising:
facilitating closure of the project within a predetermined time frame; and generating various canned 601 and ad-hoc reports 602, wherein said reports include reports regarding annual closure, branding, routine inspection, project monitoring and execution, impact assessment, audit closure, compliance and policy closure.
11. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein said activities performed by
stakeholders 201 regarding project monitoring and execution comprising:
creating project details, wherein said details include vertical, location, and
budget;
creating project execution plans;
updating the project execution plan for task allocation and team
mobilization;
organizing meetings for regular governance with agenda in a structured
manner;
executing the project;
monitoring project plan updates, task allocation updates, status updates for
ongoing tasks, meeting updates; and
viewing canned reports and ad-hoc reports regarding annual closure,
branding, routine inspection, project monitoring and execution, impact
assessment, audit closure, compliance and policy closure.
