A Method And A System For Determining Characteristics Of Oil Wells

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and system for determining desired oil well characteristics which involves receiving invariant values for first parameters associated with the characteristics of the oil well, and receiving first and second values for second parameters at two distinct time intervals after the well is shut in. The method further includes defining the changes in the characteristics of the oil well by analyzing variations between the first and second values of the second parameters. Based on these received values, a third value for third parameters is determined, representing the desired oil well characteristics. This method enables accurate assessment and prediction of oil well behavior over time, enhancing the decision-making process for oil well management and optimization.
