A Method And Device For Determining Insulin Dosages For A Subject

Abstract: METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING INSULIN DOSAGES FOR A SUBJECT ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a method and device determining insulin dosages for a subject. The device receives a value of a subcutaneous glucose level and reference values of a blood glucose level in a subject. The device determines a true blood glucose level in the subject based on a difference between the value of the subcutaneous glucose level and the reference values of the blood glucose level. The device predicts future blood glucose levels for the subject, by learning variations in predefined subject specific parameters, based on a difference between the true blood glucose level and an initial blood glucose level. Thereafter, the device determines a plurality of insulin dosages for the subject based on the learned variations by optimizing a difference between the predicted future blood glucose levels and a safe reference glucose value.
