Specification

The present disclosure relates generally to data access management; and more specifically, to systems and methods to access profile of a candidate of interest in a secured way.
BACKGROUND
Over the past few years, employment process has gone online. Online recruitment over walk-in interviews is preferred to employ candidates for a relevant job opening. Online recruitment refers to the sourcing of candidates using the internet. This can be done in a variety of ways from social media recruiting to online job boards. Online-recruitment, also known as e-recruitment, refers to the use of web-based technology for the various processes of attracting, assessing, selecting, recruiting and on boarding job candidates. Through online recruitment employers reach larger number of potential employees. Both the job seekers and recruiting entities rely on online platforms, such as Internet® web sites.
A most common practice among the recruiting entities is to prepare a job description for each job opening, and then to publish the job opening along with the job description on some Internet® web sites. The job seekers also provide their personal records to these Internet® web sites, for recruiters to view their profile. Moreover, for recruiters various networking websites have become a source to contact and screen candidates of interest for job opening in an organization.
Such open access to profile and personal records of job seekers on networking or other Internet® websites are prone to hacking. Furthermore, open access of profile and personal records can be fraudulently utilized by third parties.
Furthermore, for instances when job seekers want to share limited information with recruiters, they cannot make a particular information invisible or coded.

Therefore, there is no provision for the job seekers to allow limited access of their profile for the recruiters.
The prior art in the technology of online recruitment process, has the provision for the recruiters to provide limited access to information relating to a job position. For example, the salary offered and the candidates who have applied for the job position, is restricted to access by the candidates. However, the prior art does not provide any provision for the candidates to provide limited access for the recruiter to check candidate's complete profile uploaded on a website for a job position. Moreover, candidates do not have the flexibility to allow the recruiters have access to their profile on their own discretion.
Therefore, in light of the foregoing discussion, there exists a need to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks associated with accessing profile of a candidate.

The following detailed description illustrates embodiments of the present disclosure and ways in which they can be implemented. Although some modes of carrying out the present disclosure have been disclosed, those skilled in the art would recognize that other embodiments for carrying out or practicing the present disclosure are also possible.
In one aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for accessing a profile of at least one candidate of interest by a recruiter for a relevant job opening, wherein the method comprises:
- identifying the at least one candidate of interest, for the recruiter, based on the profile summary provided by the candidate of interest;
- sending an access request to the at least one candidate of interest, by the recruiter, for reviewing full profile of the at least one candidate of interest;
- receiving an access permission, from the at least one candidate of interest;
- displaying an information allowed by the at least one candidate of interest, to the recruiter.
In another aspect, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a system for accessing a profile of at least one candidate of interest by a recruiter for a relevant job opening, wherein the system comprises:
- a processing arrangement operable to:
- identify the at least one candidate of interest, for the recruiter, based on the profile summary provided by the candidate of interest;
- send an access request to the at least one candidate of interest, by the recruiter, for reviewing full profile of the at least one candidate of interest;

- receive an access permission, from the at least one candidate of interest;
- display an information allowed by the at least one candidate of interest, to the recruiter;

- a display module to display profile summary provided by the candidate of interest, to display access request, to display access permission and to display information allowed by the at least one candidate of interest; and
- a communication module coupled with processing arrangement and the display module via the communication network.
The present disclosure provides the aforesaid system and method for accessing the profile of a candidate of interest by a recruiter for a relevant job opening in a secured way. In this method the recruiter already has the access to a database having list of profiles of all the job seekers related to the job opening. The Recruiter based on his interest and preferences required for the job opening, selects a few profiles of candidates of interest from the list of all the job seekers. The Recruiter sends a request to the candidates of interest to seek permission for accessing their full profiles. The corresponding candidates of interest sends the access permission based on their own discretion. The candidates of interest have the provision to control the access of their profile with the recruiter, wherein the access permission includes at least one of: allowance for complete access of the full profile of the candidates of interest, limited access of the full profile of the candidates of interest, refusal to access full profile of the candidates of interest. The aforesaid method enables the job seekers to protect their information, by controlling the access of any information for the recruiter. Moreover, the aforesaid method benefits the job seekers to save their information from fraud recruiters.
Optionally, the limited access of the full profile provided by the candidate(s) of interest may include at least one of: partial access, time bound access, limited sharing, non-sharing access, limited number of profile views access.

Moreover, the aforesaid method ensures data protection by giving the job seekers the control on sharing information with recruiters. When a particular job seeker is a candidate of interest for a recruiter, the recruiter sends a request to the candidate of interest for accessing the encrypted information of the full profile of the candidate of interest. The candidate of interest receives the access request on candidate's individual user-interface device like mobile phone or PC. The candidate then shares the access permission in form of a decryption password, PIN, or fingerprint, or face detection or any other secured way. The recruiter decrypts the data by inserting the decryption password and access the information included in the full profile of the candidate of interest.
Such a method of controlled sharing of information assures correct usage of information. This increases assurance for the job seekers that the information is not used by any fraud third parties and the does not become a prey to hacking.
While executing the embodiments of the present disclosure, the identity and information provided by a candidate of interest is verified and already authenticated by the recruiter. The present disclosure discloses how securely the candidate of interest can share the details of his full profile and at the same time the candidate of interest has the control of who can access his full profile.
