Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, a method for secured communication is provided. The method includes connecting a second electronic device by a first electronic device. The method also includes detecting a first mode of the second electronic device and detecting the second mode of the second electronic device. The method of secured communication further includes notifying the first electronic device in case of an unsecured communication wherein the first electronic device and the second electronic device are on the same platform whereas the platform is configured to detect the first and the second mode of the first electronic device and the second electronic device.
A METHOD AND SYSTEM OF SECURED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION FIELD OF INVENTION
[1] This invention relates to communication systems, more particularly, to a wireless communication system.
BACKGROUND
[2] Conventionally, wireless communication, for example cellular communication includes a communication channel to communicate between two users with electronic devices via network. Generally, the communication channel used for wireless communication is a secured channel. However, the present system cannot keep a track of security at other end user. Furthermore, there is no real time notification of the status of security at other side of the communication channel.
[3] Hence, there is a need for a system and a method to address the aforementioned issues.
SUMMARY
[4] In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, a method for secured communication is provided. The method includes connecting a second electronic device by a first electronic device via a network. The method also includes detecting a first mode of the second electronic device and detecting the second mode of the second electronic device. The method of secured communication further includes notifying the first electronic device in case of an unsecured communication wherein the first electronic device and the second electronic device are on the same platform whereas the platform is configured to detect the first and the second mode of the first electronic device and the second electronic device.
[5] In accordance with another embodiment of the invention, a system for secured communication is provided. The system includes a first electronic device configured to send and receive data, a second electronic device configured to send and receive data and a communication network configured to connect the first electronic device and the second electronic device. The system for secured communication further includes a platform configured to detect and notify unsecured communication wherein the platform of the first electronic device and the second electronic device is same.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[14] FIG. 1 depicts a block diagram of an environment in accordance with one embodiment.
[15] The environment 100 includes a network 105. The environment 100 further includes one or more electronic devices, for example a first electronic device 110, and a second electronic device 115 which can communicate with each other through the network 105. Examples of the first and the second electronic devices include, but are not limited to, computers, mobile devices, laptops, palmtops, and personal digital assistants (PDAs). The electronic devices can also communicate with each other through the network 105.
[16] The first electronic device 110 connects to second electronic device 115 via network for communication.
[17] In an embodiment the first electronic device 110 can send or receive data for the communication.
[18] The first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115 are configured to send and receive data via the network 105. The network 115 is configured to connect the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115 for the communication between the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115.
[19] A platform is configured in the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115, wherein the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115 are in the same platform. For example, the platform can be Android, Bada, Symbian, Windows or Linux. The platform is configured to detect and notify an unsecured communication between the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115.
[20] In an embodiment, the network includes wireless network for communication. For example, the network can be global system for mobile communication (GSM) network or code division multiple access (CDMA) network.
[21] In another embodiment, the unsecured communication is detected by monitoring first mode and a second mode of the second electronic device 115. The first mode of the second electronic device 115 is the status of a speaker mode of the second electronic device 115. The second mode of the second electronic device 115 is the status of a voice recorder mode of the second electronic device 115.
[22] In yet another embodiment, the unsecured mode of communication in the first mode is when the speaker mode of the second electronic device 115 is switched on. The secured mode of communication in the first mode is when the speaker mode of the second electronic device 115 is switched off.
[23] In further embodiment, the unsecured mode of communication in the second mode is when the voice recorder mode of the second electronic device 115 is switched on. The secured mode of communication in the second mode is when the voice recorder mode of the second electronic device 115 is switched off.
[24] The platform configured in the first electronic device 110 and the second electronic device 115 detects the status of the first mode and the status of the second mode of the second electronic device 115 and notifies the first electronic device 110 in case of unsecured communication.
[25] In an embodiment, the platform notifies the first electronic device 110 via short message service (SMS) or general packet radio service (GPRS).
[26] In another embodiment, the platform notifies the first electronic device 110 by a two digit status code, wherein first digit represents the status of the first mode and second digit represents the status of the second mode. For example:
[27] The first electronic device 110 includes a display to display the status code sent by the platform to notify the unsecured communication.

[29] A user at the first electronic device 205 connects the communication 210 with a user at the second electronic device 215 via the network.
[30] The user at the first electronic device 205 is unaware of the first mode and the second mode of the communication. The platform configured in the first electronic device and the second electronic device detects the status of the second electronic device.
[31] The user at the second electronic device 215 has switched off the first mode, that is the speaker mode, and the second mode, that is the voice recorder mode. For example:
[32] The platform detects the secured communication and hence notifies the user at the first electronic device 205 about the secured communication.
[33] FIG 2b depicts a block diagram of unsecured communication 200b, in accordance with one embodiment.
[34] The user at the first electronic device 220 connects the communication 225 with the user at the second electronic device 230 via the network.
[35] The user at the first electronic device 220 is unaware of the first mode and the second mode of the communication. The platform configured in the first electronic device and the second electronic device detects the status of the second electronic device.
[36] The user at the second electronic device 230 has switched on the first mode, that is the speaker mode, and switched off the second mode, that is the voice recorder mode.
[37] A person 235 and a person 240 may here the communication and hence the communication is unsecured.
[38] The platform detects the unsecured communication and hence notifies the user at the first electronic device 220 with the two digit status code representing the first and the second mode of communication. For example,

[42] The user at the first electronic device 305 is unaware of the first mode and the second mode of the communication. The platform configured in the first electronic device and the second electronic device detects the status of the second electronic device.

[54] FIG 4 depicts a block diagram of communication 400, in accordance with one embodiment.
[55] A user at first electronic device 405 with the first electronic device connects a user at second electronic device 410 via network. The user at first electronic device 405 communicates to the user at second electronic device 410 with a communication network 415.
[56] The user at first electronic device 405 has subscribed for secured communication whereas the user at the second electronic device 410 has not subscribed for the secured communication.
[57] The platform detects the status of the first mode and second mode of the second electronic device. The platform detects the first mode or the second mode, that is, the speaker mode or the voice recorder mode switched on by the user at the second electronic device 410. The platform notifies the user at the first electronic device 405 via SMS or GPRS 420 about the status of the first mode and the second mode of the communication.
[58] The platform again detects the status of the first mode and the second mode of the second electronic device. The platform detects 425 the first mode or the second mode switched off, that is, the speaker mode or the voice recorder mode switched off by the user at the second electronic device 410. The platform notifies the user at the first electronic device 405 via SMS or GPRS 430 about the status.
[59] The platform again detects the status of the first mode and the second mode of the electronic device 435.
[60] In an embodiment, the platform detects the status of communication throughout the communication.
[61] FIG 5 depicts a block diagram of communication 500, in accordance with one embodiment.
[62] A user at first electronic device 505 with the first electronic device connects a user at second electronic device 510 via network. The user at first electronic device 505 communicates to the user at second electronic device 510 with a communication network 515.
[63] The user at first electronic device 505 and the user at the second electronic device 515 has subscribed for secured communication.
[64] The platform detects the status of the first mode and second mode of the second electronic device. The platform detects the first mode or the second mode, that is, the speaker mode or the voice recorder mode switched on by the user at the second electronic device 510. The platform notifies the user at the first electronic device 505 via SMS or GPRS 520 about the status of the first mode and the second mode of the communication.
[65] The platform again detects the status of the first mode and the second mode of the first electronic device. The platform detects 525 the first mode or the second mode switched on, that is, the speaker mode or the voice recorder mode switched on by the user at the first electronic device 510. The platform notifies the user at the second electronic device 505 via SMS or GPRS 530 about the status of the first mode and the second mode of the communication.
[66] The platform again detects the status of the first mode and the second mode of the electronic device 535.
[67] In an embodiment, the platform detects the status of communication throughout the communication.
[68] FIG. 6 illustrates a method for secured communication 600 in accordance with one embodiment.
[69] At step 605 the first user at the first electronic device wishes to communicate to the user at the second electronic device. The user at the first electronic device connects to the user at the second electronic device via a communication network.
[70] At step 610 the platform detects the first mode of the second electronic device. In an embodiment, the first mode of the second electronic device is the status of the speaker mode of the second electronic device.
[71] At step 615 the platform detects the second mode of the second electronic device. In an embodiment, the second mode of the second electronic device is the status of the voice recorder mode of the second electronic device.
[72] The platform at step 620 notifies the first electronic device with respect to the status of the first mode and the second mode of the second electronic device. In an embodiment the unsecured communication is detected by monitoring first mode and a second mode of the second electronic device. The first mode of the second electronic device is the status of a speaker mode of the second electronic device. The second mode of the second electronic device is the status of a voice recorder mode of the second electronic device.
[73] In yet another embodiment, the unsecured mode of communication in the first mode is when the speaker mode of the second electronic device is switched on. The secured mode of communication in the first mode is when the speaker mode of the second electronic device is switched off.
[74] In further embodiment, the unsecured mode of communication in the second mode is when the voice recorder mode of the second electronic device is switched on. The secured mode of communication in the second mode is when the voice recorder mode of the second electronic device is switched off.
[75] The platform configured in the first electronic device and the second electronic device detects the status of the first mode and the status of the second mode of the second electronic device and notifies the first electronic device in case of unsecured communication.
[76] In an embodiment, the platform notifies the first electronic device via short message service (SMS) or general packet radio service (GPRS).
[77] In another embodiment, the platform notifies the first electronic device by a two digit status code, wherein first digit represents the status of the first mode and second digit represents the status of the second mode. For example:
[78] At step 625 the first electronic device displays the notification sent by the platform for the status of the mode of communication.

The present embodiments are, therefore, to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and all changes coming within the meaning and equivalency range of the appended claims are intended to be embraced therein.
CLAIMS
I/ We Claim:
1. A method of secured communication comprising:
connecting a second electronic device by a first electronic device via a network;
detecting first mode of the second electronic device;
detecting second mode of the second electronic device; and
notifying the first electronic device in case of a unsecured communication,
wherein the first electronic device and the second electronic device are on the same platform and the platform is configured to detect the first mode and the second mode of the first electronic device and the second electronic device.
2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first mode of the second electronic device comprises status of a speaker mode of the second electronic device.
3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second mode of the second electronic device comprises status of a voice recording mode of the second electronic device.
4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein unsecured communication comprises switching on atleast one of the first mode of the second electronic device or the second mode of the second electronic device.
5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second electronic device and the first electronic device is configured to send and receive data via network.
6. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein notifying the first electronic device comprises sending a status code to the first electronic device.
7. The status code as claimed in claim 6, wherein the status code comprises of two digit status code,
8. The status code as claimed in claim 7, wherein the first digit is configured to notify the status of the first mode and second digit is configured to notify the status of the second mode.
9. A system for secured communication comprising:
a first electronic device configured to send and receive data;
a second electronic device configured to send and receive data;
a communication network configured to connect the first electronic device and the second electronic device; and
a platform configured to detect and notify unsecured communication by a first mode or a second mode,
wherein the first electronic device and the second electronic device are on the same platform.
10. The system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the first mode of the second electronic device comprises status of a speaker mode of the second electronic device.
11. The system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the second mode of the second electronic device comprises status of a voice recorder mode of the second electronic device.
12. The system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the unsecured communication comprises at least one of the first mode of the second electronic device or the second mode of the second electronic device is switched on.
13. The system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the first electronic device is configured to display data.
