A Method For Controlling A Low Pressure Fuel Pump Of A Fuel Injection System

Abstract: A method for controlling a low pressure fuel pump 14 of a fuel injection system 10 is described. The method comprises receiving from a sensor a signal indicative of a level of exhaust gas reducing agent that is present in a tank. The method further comprises controlling the low pressure fuel pump 14 of the fuel injection system 10 in dependence of the level of exhaust gas reducing agent that is present in the tank. Figure 1.
