BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] When a yarn breaks in a spinning position of a Ring spinning machine, the piecing operation is carried out by an operator who manually picks the yarn from the bobbin, keeps a reserve length of yarn and then guide them through various yarn guides and finally do piecing activity. In case of automatic piecing methods, it is essential to keep a reserve length of yarn for successful piecing operation.
[0003] The present invention helps to identify sufficient length of yarn is taken from the bobbin for a successful piecing operation by a service robot.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The main object of the present invention is to develop a method for identifying the reserve yarn for piecing.

[0006] Accordingly, the present invention relates to a method for identifying the reserve yarn for piecing.
[0007] In an aspect of the present invention, the present invention provides a method of for identifying the reserve yarn when the piecing operation is done by a service robot in a Ring spinning machine during yarn break.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] For the better understanding of the object, technical solution and advantage of the present invention, the present invention will be further explained in detail with respect to embodiments and accompanying drawings below. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein only be used for explaining the present invention but not used to limit the present invention.
[0010] The present invention relates to a method for identifying the reserve yarn for piecing.
[0011] The method involves a combination of electro mechanical, pneumatics and sensors for identifying the successful picking of adequate reserve thread.
[0012] In particular, when a yarn breaks and the service robot initiates its operations of piecing, the yarn end has to be picked from the bobbin. The free yarn end from the bobbin is picked by a suction nozzle till the end of the storage duct. Especially this is achieved by rotating the bobbin freely on its axis which assists to unravel the yarn and made sucked through the yarn tube.
[0013] There are one or plurality of yarn sensors available along the path of the storage duct. In particular, a first sensor helps to identify whether successful unraveling is done and the second sensor helps to identify whether the yarn is adequately unraveled such that sufficient reserve yarn is kept for further piecing operations.
[0014] The yarn sensors can be of electro optical or capacitive or interference detection. Once the successful unraveling is identified by the exit sensor in the storage duct, the suction of yarn from the bobbin is stopped. Thereafter, further piecing operations are carried out by the service robot.
[0015] Figure 1 explains the method of identifying the successful unraveling and reserve of yarn. Suction nozzle (5) is used to pick the yarn (2) from bobbin (1) through the storage duct (3). Plurality of Sensors (4) helps to identify whether the yarn is successfully unraveled and passed through the storage duct (3).

1. A method for identifying the reserve of yarn in a Suction nozzle (5) of the service robot for piecing, characterized in that,
- The yarn (2) from bobbin (1) is made available in the storage duct (3), and,
- Plurality of Sensors (4) identifies whether the yarn is passed through the storage duct (3).
