Abstract: ABSTRACT “A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A JEWELRY RING AND A SYSTEM THEREOF” The present disclosure discloses a system (100) and a method (300) of manufacturing a jewelry ring (30) of jewelry. The method (300) includes passing a metal sheet through a first die (201) configured to mark a profile of the jewelry ring (30) on the metal sheet and blank the marked profile from the metal sheet. The blanked metal sheet is passed through a second die (202) to form an intermediate profile (20) of the jewelry ring (30). The sheet metal with the intermediate profile (20) is then passed through a third die (203) to form the jewelry ring (30). With such configuration, the method (300) may form a jewelry ring (30) with reduced lead time and at low cost. Further, the method (300) may eliminate need of skilled labour for manufacturing the jewelry rings
1. A method (300) for manufacturing a jewelry ring (30), the method (300)
comprising:
marking a predefined profile of shape of a ring (30) on a metal sheet;
blanking the marked profile on the metal sheet by a first die (201);
10 pressing the blanked metal sheet from a second die (202) to form an
intermediate profile (20) of the ring (30); and
pressing the metal sheet with the intermediate profile (20) from a third die
(203) to form the jewelry ring (30).
15 2. The method (300) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predefined profile of the
ring (30) includes a face (11), at least two extended portions (12), at least two
lateral portions (13) extending from an edge of the face (11).
3. The method (300) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first die (201) comprises
20 a punch plate (2) and a die plate (1), and the metal sheet is positioned between
the punch plate (2) and the die plate (1).
4. The method (300) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the punch plate (2) is defined
with a projection in shape of the ring (30) to mark the predefined profile on the
25 metal sheet.
5. The method (300) as claimed in claim 3, wherein the die plate (1) is configured
to blank the marked profile from the metal sheet.
30 6. The method (300) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second die (202) includes
at least one first plunger (3) defined with the intermediate profile (20) of the
ring (30) and the third die (203) includes at least one second plunger (4) defined
with a curved profile similar to profile of the ring (30).

5 7. The method (300) as claimed in claim 6, wherein each of the second die (202)
and the third die (203) comprises a receiving plate (5) defined with at least one
cavity to receive the blanked sheet metal and to receive the metal sheet with the
intermediate profile (20).
10 8. The method (300) as claimed in claim 7 comprising the method of pressing the
blanked sheet metal against the receiving plate (5) in the second die (202) by
the at least one first plunger (3) to form the intermediate profile (20) of the ring
(30).
15 9. The method (300) as claimed in claim 7, comprising pressing the metal sheet
with the intermediate profile (20) against the receiving plate (5) in the third die
(203) by the at least one second plunger (4) to form the ring (30).
10. A system (100) for manufacturing a jewelry ring (30), the system (100)
20 comprising:
a first die (201) configured receive a metal sheet to mark a predefined
profile of shape of a ring (30) on the metal sheet and configured to blank the
marked profile from the metal sheet;
a second die (202) configured to receive the blanked metal sheet to press
25 the blanked profile (10) to form an intermediate profile (20) of the ring (30);
and
a third die (203) configured to receive and press the metal sheet with the
intermediate profile (20) to form the ring (30).
