This invention relates to a method of preparing polysaccharide blended slow release urea comprising: adding to every 100 gms of urea 0.2-1. 4X by wt. of polysacchar ide powder; subjecting the said mix to a step of coating for a period of 50-80 hours so as to allow a coating of polysaccharide on urea under dry conditions.
