Abstract: Present invention provides a control unit (102, 202) for facilitating conversion of a 5 vehicle (112) from one mode to another mode, comprises a processor (206) and a memory (208). The processor (206) upon receiving a disengagement request for disengaging a first body frame (108) from a second body frame (110) of the vehicle, configured to enable a support stand (114) provided on the first body frame (108) and/or the second body frame (110) to operate in such a manner that the support stand 10 rests upon ground for making the first body frame (108) ready to be disengaged from the second body frame (110). Further, the processor (206) configured to actuate one or more actuators (212) to uncouple and disengage the first body frame (108) and the second body frame (110) such that after being disengaged from each other, the vehicle is converted from a multi-wheeler mode into a 2-wheeler mode.
