Abstract: ABSTRACT “A MUFFLER OF AN EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE” The present disclosure relates to a muffler (112) of an exhaust system (102) for a vehicle. The muffler (112) comprises a muffler housing (116), one end adapted to 5 be in fluid communication with an exhaust treatment section (106) of the exhaust system (102), and another end, in fluid communication with an exhaust gas pipe (114) of the exhaust system (102). The muffler housing (116) is covered by a first end cap (118) and a second end cap (120). A mounting element (122) is distally positioned from the second end cap (120) of the muffler housing (116). A deflector 10 member (128) is provided, a portion of one end being connectable to the muffler housing (116), and another end, being fluidly directed towards the mounting element (122). The deflector member (128) is configured to direct at least a portion of ambient air towards the mounting element (122)
