The multifunctional bottle (100) comprises a bottle cap (106), the upper chamber (102) removably connected with the bottle cap (106), the lower chamber (104), wherein the upper chamber (102) and the lower chamber (104) are connected via one or more first connecting means (108), and a dispensing mechanism (112) integrated inside the lower chamber (104), wherein the upper chamber (102) is configured to store water and the lower chamber (104) is configured to store sanitizer.
The present invention relates generally to portable container, and more
particularly, to multifunctional bottle for carrying multiple functions.
BACKGROUND
[0002] In the light of Covid-19 pandemic situation and as far as general daily use
hygiene is concerned it is a well-known fact. Often to maintain hygiene, people around the
world tends to use sanitizers in day to day life. Sanitizers becomes important when there is
no availability of water. This may happen when a user has gone out for shopping or has
generally gone out for some other purpose. Also, during this time of pandemic, the
sanitization is very important in our day today life. So nowadays whenever a person goes
outside from his/her home he/she has to carry a sanitizer with himself/herself.
[0003] Often when a person steps out from his/her home, the person carries with him
a bottle of water to stay hydrated during his/her trip along with sanitiser bottle. The person
along with these items may carry a plurality of more items with him, for example, a mobile
phone, a wallet, a face mask, car keys, etc. Thus, it becomes difficult for a person to carry
so many things with them.
[0004] Thus, there is a need to enable a person reduce the items that the person has to
carry with him/her when he/she steps out from the home.

[0011] References to “one embodiment”, “an embodiment”, “another embodiment”,
“one example”, “an example”, “another example”, “yet another example”, and so on,
indicate that the embodiment(s) or example(s) so described may include a particular feature,
structure, characteristic, property, element, or limitation, but that not every embodiment or
example necessarily includes that particular feature, structure, characteristic, property,
element or limitation. Furthermore, repeated use of the phrase “in an embodiment” does not
necessarily refer to the same embodiment. The words “comprising”, “having”, “containing”,

[0012] Referring to Fig.1, a multifunctional bottle 100 is shown. The multifunctional
bottle 100 has multiple functions. For example, the multifunctional bottle 100 is used to
carry multiple fluids, for example, water and sanitizer. Although, the present invention has
been explained below considering the multiple fluids as water and sanitizer, there may be
any fluid present in the multifunctional bottle. For example, in one embodiment, instead of
water, the multifunctional bottle 100 may contain fruit juice in one compartment and
sanitizer in another compartment. The multifunctional bottle 100 may be circular in shape,
however, the shape is not limited to circular and the multifunctional bottle 100 may attain
any other shape.
[0013] The multifunctional bottle 100 is divided into two chambers- an upper
chamber 102 and a lower chamber 104. Further, the multipurpose bottle 100 comprises a
bottle cap 106, one or more first connecting means 108, one or more second connecting
means 110, a dispensing mechanism 112.
[0014] The bottle cap 106 is removable connected to the upper chamber 102. The
bottle cap 106 may be removed from the upper chamber 102 so that the upper chamber 102
may be opened whenever required. The bottle cap 106 may be in the form of a lid.
5
[0015] In one embodiment, the bottle cap 106 is circular in shape. In another
embodiment, the bottle cap 106 may be in the form of shape of an upper portion of the
upper chamber 102.
[0016] The bottle cap 106 is removably connected with the upper chamber 102 via
the one or more second connecting means 110. The one or more second connecting means
110 comprises of fine threaded joints. The one or more second connecting means 110 are
not limited herein and the one or more second connecting means 110 may be removably
connected with the upper chamber 102 via any other connecting means.
[0017] The upper chamber 102 may be a hollow container which may be used to store
a fluid. The fluid is water. As explained above, the upper chamber 102 is connected with the
bottle cap 108 with the one or more second connecting means 110. Further, the upper
chamber 102 is connected with the lower chamber 104 with the first connecting means 108.
The one or more first connecting means 108 are fine threaded joints. The one or more first
connecting means 108 ensures that there is no mixing of the fluids stored in the upper
chamber 102 and the lower chamber 104. Further, the one or more first connecting means
108 prevents leakage of fluids from the first chamber 102 and the second chamber.
[0018] In one embodiment, the upper chamber 102 is made from BPA (bisphenol-A)
free LDPE (low density polyethylene) plastic.
[0019] The lower chamber 104 is configured to store sanitizer. The dispensing
mechanism 114 is integrated in the lower chamber 104. The dispensing mechanism 114
may comprise of a push button an output hole present below the push button. The push
button may be pressed by a user.
[0020] The dispensing mechanism 112 is used to dispense sanitizer. In one
embodiment, the sanitizer is dispensed in a spray form. As soon as the push button is
pressed by the user, the sanitizer comes out from the output hole below the push button. The
sanitizer may then be used by the user for cleaning the hands.
[0021] In one embodiment, the multifunctional bottle 100 may further comprise a
strap (not shown) for holding the multifunctional bottle 100 from upper end. The strap may
be coupled to the upper chamber 102 via at least two third connecting means. The strap may
make it easy for the people to carry the bottle 100 on their shoulders during their travel.
[0022] Referring to Figure 2a-2f now, different views of the multifunctional bottle
100 is shown. For example, Figure 2a shows a bottom view of the multifunctional bottle
100. As shown in figure 2a, a bottom surface 202 of the lower chamber 104 is shown. The
6
bottom surface 202 is shown as circular in shape, however, it is not restricted to circular
shape.
[0023] Figure 2b shows a right view of the multifunctional bottle 100. Further, Figure
2c shows a front view of the multifunctional bottle 100. Similarly, Figure 2d shows a back
view of the multifunctional bottle 100. All the figures 2b, 2c and 2d shows the upper
chamber 102 and the lower chamber connected with the one or more first connecting means.
Also, said figures shows dispensing means present on the lower chamber 104.
[0024] Referring to figure 2e now, a top view of the multifunctional bottle 100 is
shown. The top view shows upper portion of the bottle cap 106. Although, the bottle cap
106 has been shown as circular in shape, the shape is not restricted to being circular and
may include any other shape.
[0025] The various actions, acts, blocks, steps, or the like in the flow diagram may be
performed in the order presented, in a different order or simultaneously. Further, in some
embodiments, some of the actions, acts, blocks, steps, or the like may be omitted, added,
modified, skipped, or the like without departing from the scope of the invention.
[0026] Although particular embodiments of the invention have been described in
detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made
without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
