1 A multilock (1) for a luggage case comprising a multilever barrel center lock (2) fitted at the center of the frontside wall (6a) of the bottom shell of the luggage case, a pair of trigger side locks (14a, 14a) each fitted at each end of the frontside wall of the bottom shell, characterized in that a pair of locking elements each comprising a T-shaped elements (52a, 52b) fitted to the front pfate at the outer end thereof or the casing at the outer end of the front plate and adapted to protrude into the luggage case through corresponding slots (53,54) in the back plate and front side wall of the bottom shell, a pair of locking members each comprising a flat member (55a, 55b) slidably located on a guide (56a, 56b) fitted internally at the front sidewali of the bottom shell and provided with a forked end (57) adapted to engage against and disengage from the T-shaped element and a bidirectional reciprocating means comprising a long pin (59) and a short pin (60) are provided at the inner end of the barrel (3) of the center lock opposite to each other, a pair of slider members (61a, 61b) disposed in the center lock housing (7) end to end one over the other, the long pin being engaged in a long transverse slot (62) provided in one slider member (61b) through an elliptical relief slot (63) provided in the other slider member (61a), the short pin being engaged in a long transverse slot (64) provided in the other slider member (61a), the one slider member (61a) being connected to one locking member (55a) through a first weak link (65) and the other slider member (61b) being connected to the other locking member (55b) through a second weak link (68), the center lock fitted to the housing over the slider member being provided with inner cover (71), the locking members and weak links being provided with protective covers (72, 73).
