A Non Coxial Rotary Contact Unit For A Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (Mccb)

Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-coaxial rotary contact unit [120] for a moulded case circuit breaker (MCCB) [100], wherein the non-coaxial rotary contact unit [120] comprises: a non-coaxial rotary member [124] having a predetermined structure, wherein the predetermined structure defines two parallelly positioned face plates [124c, 124e] at least partially connected together by an intermediate portion [124f]; an elongated rotating arm member [126] pivotally mounted on the rotary member [124] along a toggling axis different from the main pivot axis, the elongated rotating arm member [126] defining a curved cut-out shaped spring connection portion [126d]; and a toggling mechanism [128], wherein the toggling mechanism [128] enables pivotal toggling of the elongated rotating arm member [126] between a contact position and a non-contact position.
