Abstract: This invention relates to novel CNG fuel system of vehicle to reduce amplitude of CNG pulsation comprising of a novel low pressure CNG hose provided bctwccn outlet of CNG low pressure filter in connection with pressure regulator and inlet of CNG injector rail, wherein the hose comprising a stepped down section carrying fuel from the filter to said injector rail.

Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to novel CNG fuel system of vehicle to reduce amplitude
of CNG pulsation.
PRIOR ART
Currently provided CNG hose is having a uniform internal diameter. This
known hose does not play any role in dampening the CNG pulsation amplitude.
Now, reference may be made to fig. 1 in which the low pressure CNG hose (2) is
provided between outlet (0) of CNG low pressure filter (1) and inlet (I) of CNG
injector rail (3). The filter is provided in connection with CNG pressure
regulator (4). However, during idling state of vehicle CNG fuel pulsation noise
generated due to fuel pulsation inside the hose can be heard in driver cabin.
The. pulsations are generated due to CNG injector operation, which are
transmitted in CNG low pressure hose.
Hence, the present invention has been developed to reduce CNG pulsation
:i!.r!pli tutie.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide novel CNG fuel system
of vehicle to reduce amplitude of CNG pulsation which overcomes
disadvantages associated with the prior art(s).
Another object of the present invention is to provide novel CNG fuel system of
vehicle to reduce amplitude of CNG pulsation which is simple in construction.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide novel CNG fuel system
c;f vehicle to reduce amplitude of CNG pulsation which is efficient and reliable.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided novel CNG fuel system of vehicle
to reduce amplitude of CNG pulsation comprising of a novel low pressure CNG
hose provided between outlet of CNG low pressure filter in connection with
pressure regulator and inlet of CNG injector rail, wherein the hose comprising
a stepped down section carrying fuel from the filter to said injector rail.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS
Further objects and advantages of this invention will be more apparent from
the ensuing description when read in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings and wherein:
Fig. 1 shows: CNG fuel system of vehicle according to prior art.
Fig. 2 shows: novel CNG fuel system of vehicle according to present invention.
Fig. 3 shows: different sections of novel low pressure CNG hose of present
invention.
DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE
ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:-
'l'he present invention discloses novel CNG fuel system of vehicle to reduce
amplitude of CNG pulsation. Now, reference may be made to fig. 2, in which a
novel low pressure CNG hose (2') is provided connecting outlet of CNG low
pressure filter (1') with inlet of CNG injector rail (3'). The filter is provided in
connection with CNG pressure regulator (4').
The novel low pressure CNG hose (2') comprising of a stepped hose to carry the
fuel from the filter to said injector rail.
The stepped hose is provided in order to damp the fuel pulsation noise
generating from the CNG injector rail and passing to the driver cabin.
Further, reference may be made to fig. 3 reflecting different sections of the
hose. Said hose is provided with four sections L1, L2, L4 and L3, wherein the
stepped down section of length L3 is provided between section of length L4 on
each side of the hose as can be seen in the figure. The stepped down section
(L:3) is having a diameter D2 which is less than the diameter (Dl) of the adjacent
section of hose L1 i.e D2
