A Novel Hyper Active Amylase Production Process From Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens And Its Unique Applications In Viscosity Reduction And Improved Ethanol Production.
Abstract: A process for the production of a hyperactive a-amylase, comprising preparing 18- 24 hour old inoculums of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, followed by mixing of wheat bran: Czapek- Dox media to obtain a substrate and autoclaving said substrate followed by inoculation of the substrate with induced inoculum and incubation for 72-96 h at 37°C, adding water to the fermented biomass followed by incubation for 2 to 4 h and extraction of the enzyme.
