Abstract: The invention under consideration is based on the revolutionary narrow fabric weaving principal, where the thick yarn is developed by giving cord/yarn like appearance with 3 dimensional effects. The weaving process is made from the yarn available in the market and selection of the yarn is based on the properties needed for subsequent process and dyeing. The designing of the weave is selected to give the voluminous appearance and to produce cord/yarn like flexible small wear without any torque/twist. The weft is inserted so that there is no layer to layer slippage (very often found inbraiding) in subsequent operation. The dyeing is carried out to the shades required for the end product or to identify the product.

3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
Field of Invention
The present invention relates to a novel method of development of a very thick and flat yarn made out of unconventional weaving process for the purpose of producing the specific carpetyarn by mixing several different types of yarns having totally different characteristics. Apart from giving the high production advantage from the conventional process like braiding, the invention is very unique as its ability for mixing of different types yarn layer to layer as well as surface to surface to impart any utility character on demand by the end product like carpet.
Background of the Invention & the Related Art
Up till now the basic raw material for producing the thick &/or the flat decorative carpet yarn, rope, the net and upholstery cloth etc. have been manufactured exclusively on the braiding machines. The process involved in the conventional method is very slow, labour intensive and costly. More over the conventional method has hardly any provision to mix different yarns either on the surfaces or among the layers to give any sort of "required on demand" characteristic or properties of the end product. These limitations leave a lot of scope for development of the better methods of producing such yarn like the carpet yarn.
Summery of Invention
The invention under consideration is based on the revolutionary narrow fabric weaving principal, where the thick yarn is developed by giving flat/cord like appearance with 3 dimensional effects.
The weaving process is made from the yarn available in the market and the selection of the yarn is based on the properties needed for subsequent end use. The construction and the compactness of the product with the high possibilities of more production and imparting the special properties is designed by selecting a special weave pattern, the mixing of different types of yarns in the same structure, in warp to produce a torque free product. The weft is to inserted to give a dimensionally balanced yarn with further scope of mixing different types of yarn in weft way and make the yarn absolutely slippage free.
In the subsequent operation, the dyeing is carried out to the shades required for the end product or to identify the product.
4. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention under consideration describes the method of converting yarn from the market to cord/flat appearance by weaving process in narrow fabric looms called needle looms.
The yarn from the market is taken and put into the warping machines as per the number of ends required and as per the thickness of the yarn. In warping, the warp beams are produced by the warping process. The warp beams may be a mixture of different yarn characteristics.
The beams thus made are put on the beam stand of the needle looms. The yarn from the beam is drawn through healds / reeds etc. as per the drawing in required by the design.
The design chains are put to give an up and down movement of heald frames as per the peg plan of the weave used.
The yarn from the market are put on weft stand of needle loom and drawn into the hole of the weft carrier/needle (which works like a shuttle). Through the pretention spring assembly, set of weft springs and weft feeder,
The yarn from the market are put on catch thread stand of needle loom and drawn through the hoJe of catch thread Jifter through catch thread feeder wheel and tension springs.
The picks per inch are adjusted with set of change gears and as per the requirements of the yarn to be produced.
The necessary setting is conducted and now the loom is ready for the actual production. With the movement of the healds, a clear shed of yarn is formed; the weft carrier passes through shed carries of the weft yarn. This movement causes the interpleacement of the warp and weft like the conventional weaving.
The catch thread due to the movement of the latch needle and catch thread lifter. draws the catch thread between the V of the inserted weft, thus preventing the weft yarn to go back when the weft carrier is on its motion to go back to its original position.
Due to all above synchronized motion, the flat/cord yarn starts getting produced and after passing through the set of take up rollers and the nip rollers are collected in collecting box of the loom.
The grey tape is then wound into the hanks on the hank winding machine.
Several hanks are put into the dyeing machine and the dyeing process takes place.
After the dyeing, the hanks are dried and are put to the conning machine for winding into cheese form on the paper tubes.
