Specification

Form 2
The Patent Act, 1970
(39 of 1970)
COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
(See section 10; rule 13)
1. A Novel Roller Supporting Refractory Blocks
2. (a) Noble Refractories
(b) having office at 8-A, National Highway, P.O. Box No.: 202, Hasanpar, Wankaner-363 622. Gujarat, India, (c) Nationality: an Indian registered partnership Firm.
The following specification particularly describes the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.

1

The present invention relates to provide better supports to the roller used in ceramic industries and more particularly used to push the raw material into the next stage of operation.
In particular ceramic industries rollers are used to push the raw material in step by step in the next stage. The rollers are not rolling in the exact axial direction. The rollers are rotating with little up and down oscillation motion so, the rollers requires some supports. In the conventional roller supporting blocks the blocks have cylindrical holes. Due to this up and down oscillation the rollers are vulnerable to touch the supporting blocks which cause correction of rollers are vulnerable to touch the supporting blocks which cause corrosion of rolls at a faster rate causing shut down of kilns. Also due to very high temperature inside the kilns which is required for firing the ceramic files, expands blocks esp. longitudinally which causes extra thermo mechanical stress on the supporting blocks ceasing lesser service life of supporting blocks. These limitations are overcome by the present invention of the A Novel Roller Supporting Refractory Blocks.
It has unique design i.e. keeping more space to ensure less probability of touching the rollers to the supporting blocks which improves service life these rollers and also provides required expansion gap at both ends of supporting blocks which takes care of expansion of blocks due to heat so, extra inherent thermo mechanical stress within the supporting blocks are

either totally nullified or brought to the bare orientation level, resulting into high service life of supporting blocks.
The present invention is described with great specific and clarity with reference to following drawings.
Fig. 1 represents the front view of conventional roller supporting blocks. Fig.2 represents the front view of the novel roller supporting refractory block
In Fig. 1 front view of the convention roller supporting block (1) have cylindrical holes (2, 3, 4) in radius shape. The rollers are rotating into this cylindrical holes, but due to their up and down oscillation motion the rotating rollers touch the supporting blocks which cause erosion of rollers at a faster rate causing that down of kiln. In Fig. 2 front view of the novel roller supporting refractory blocks the block(5) have cylindrical holes (6,7,8) in the elliptical shape where the vertical length is grater then horizontal length so when the rollers are rotating into these supporting blocks provide more space for rolling with up and down rotating motion. Here a novel roller supporting refractory blocks which take care of expansion of blocks due to heat so extra inherent thermo mechanical stress within the supporting blocks are either totally nullified or brought the bare orientation level resulting into high service life of supporting blocks. The

basis raw material in such a way which ensuring very low thermal conductivity ensure lesser heat loss i.e. better energy saving.
A Novel Roller supporting refractory blocks is provided for better rolling support with continuities of running of kiln and the block is continuously push the raw material into the next stage.

We Claim:
1. An improved roller supporting refractory blocks being
provided with cylindrical holes having elliptical cross section
shape which has expansion gap at both ends of supporting
blocks;
wherein the vertical lengths of the cylindrical holes are greater than the horizontal length.
2. An improved roller supporting refractory blocks substantially
as herein described with reference to the foregoing description
and the accompanying figures of the drawings.
