The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS AND PRIORITY
The present application claims priority from the Indian provisional patent application, having application number 202241049514, filed on 30th August 2022, incorporated herein by a reference.
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present subject matter described herein, in general, relates to a secure battery packaging assembly. More particularly, the present invention relates to the secure battery packaging assembly for placing a single battery or more than one batteriy in a single housing.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The subject matter discussed in the background section should not be assumed to be prior art merely as a result of its mention in the background section. Similarly, a problem mentioned in the background section or associated with the subject matter of the background section should not be assumed to have been previously recognized in the prior art. The subject matter in the background section merely represents different approaches, which in and of themselves may also correspond to implementations of the claimed technology.
Battery installation in electric vehicles generally comprise a fixed installation and a swappable installation. In the fixed installation, a battery is generally fixed on the vehicle frame, and thus, the vehicle is directly charged using external chargers. In the swappable installation, a battery is removable installed, and thus, the battery may be taken out at any time to swap the battery with a new battery.
Further, conventionally battery packaging is designed for catering the need of vehicles for which the battery packaging is specifically designed. Based on vehicle operation and battery condition, a single battery may be swapped or recharged frequently, which may result in hampering operation efficiency of the vehicle. Further, fixing the battery pack of two or more batteries may lead to increased overall weight of the battery. Also, use of a single battery in the battery packaging system designed for more than two batteries, may lead to structural inconsistency of the battery pack in case of vehicle vibrations during movement on road.
Thus, there exists a need for providing swappable batteries to address the long-standing problem of swappable battery packs. Furthermore, there is a need to provide a structural rigidity to the vehicle architecture resulting in an overall mass optimization.
