A Peptide Sequence, A Combination, A Composition And Application Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a sequence comprising a peptide having sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO: 1 and a tag having sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO: 2, wherein the SEQ ID NO: 2 is attached to the SEQ ID NO:1 at the N-terminus. The present disclosure further relates to a method of dispersing or preventing formation of microbial biofilm, including mature microbial biofilm. The disclosure also relates to a combination comprising a peptide having sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO: 1 and an antibiotic or macrophage and a composition comprising peptide having sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO: 1 and an antibiotic or macrophage. The combination or the composition provides for improved dispersion or degradation of microbial biofilm, including mature microbial biofilm.
