" A Piston With A Duct Under A Gasket"
Abstract: The invention relates to a piston (1) having a first face (11), a second face (12) opposite to the first face (11), a third face (13) connecting said first and second faces (11 and 12) together and presenting a groove (30), and a sealing gasket (40) housed in said groove (30). The piston (1) includes a duct (50) constituted by a first segment (51) situated inside the piston (1) and connecting said first face (11) to said groove (30), by a second segment (52) situated inside the piston (1) and connecting said second face (12) to said groove (30), and by an intermediate segment (53) connecting together said first and second segments (51 and 52) and crossing said groove (30), the walls of said intermediate segment (53) being formed by the walls of said groove (30) and by said sealing gasket (40) in such a manner that said intermediate segment (53) forms a leaktight tube that opens out solely via the first segment (51) and via the second segment (52), said intermediate segment (53) presenting at least one obstacle (535, 536, 537) suitable for impeding the flow of fluid that flows along said intermediate segment (53).
