, Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a plate facilitating fuse terminal alignment. In particular, the present disclosure to an alignment plate for fuse terminals on a Printed circuit board (PCB) board.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] As known in the art, existing PCB board need to maintain the alignment of PCB terminals (102) at 90 degree. FIG. 1A illustrates a conventional PCB board (104) with a plurality of terminals (102) while FIG. 1B illustrates a PCB assembly with a main cover (106).
[0004] However, there may be a possibility of misalignment in the PCB board if the terminals are not at 90 degree and thus the terminals will not enter into main cover. This might cause bending of the terminals and also might damage the main cover. FIGs. 2A-2C illustrate different types of misalignment. There will be no proper conductivity of the plurality of terminals (102) with the fuses (108).
[0005] Therefore, there is a requirement of an alignment plate for fuse terminals that can overcome aforementioned problems and challenges in the art.
