Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
The invention relates to a pole mounting assembly. More particularly, it relates to mounting of device, articles, junction boxes, control boxes on pole, pole like structures commonly used for street light, data transmission, capacitor banks etc. which requires less effort and cost for fixing the device or same to the pole.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Mounting of articles on poles or pole like structures is a regular need especially in street pole related activities. Numerous articles require installation on a pole. Many articles like junction boxes, control boxes for street light, data transmission, capacitor banks, switching systems, cameras, wireless transmitters etc. are all fitted on the poles due to the advantage of location. They are typically installed using a frame that is shaped according to the pole size and shape. One major challenge lies in making the mechanical link between the articles and the pole easy to implement and to ensure the needed bonding and reliability in the long run. For this purpose, a variety of brackets, nuts, and bolts are strips are used depending on the pole size and shape.
Since certain poles have circular circumference while some have rectangular circumference, the frames need to be shaped to suit the need for a particular application. Adjustment for the frame around the pole is not possible in the field. Also, the persons responsible for fixing the article spend time and resources to mobilize a bracket or other apparatus suitable to that pole.
There are many disadvantages with the former approaches like there is a need to find the frame based on the specific pole shape and size. This increases the time and resource needed for the procurement process.
A single individual is unable to complete the installation procedure of an article. Currently available systems require one person to fix the frame while the other

handles the article simultaneously. Currently available systems need at least 2 people in order to safely install an article on a pole without causing damage at any point.
Further, the person is unable to adjust the frame size if the pole shape and size demand it in the field. Repeated procurements based on the custom requirements of certain poles increasing the cost and time required for the installation process.
Further, the structure was unable to withstand extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat and cold without compromising on its performance.
Therefore, to overcome the complexity and drawbacks discussed above, there is need of a pole mounting mechanism which is friendly to single handed operations, can withstand heat and cold without compromising on its performance, and can be mounted on any pole irrespective of any shape. Also, there is a need of the pole mounting mechanism which is cost effective and easy to assemble and disassemble.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is to provide a pole mounting assembly that can be mounted at any pole irrelevant to the shape of the pole.
Another object of the invention is to provide a pole mounting assembly which can be mounted by a single user.
Another object of the invention is to provide a pole mounting assembly can withstand extreme weather conditions such as rain, heat and cold without compromising on its performance.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The following detailed description is of the best currently contemplated modes of carrying out the invention. The description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention, since the scope of the invention is best defined by the appended claims.
The pole mounting assembly (100) is shown in figure 1, in typical example shows a pole (101) where the pole (101) mounting assembly is mounted. The pole (101) referred may carry any shape or geometry. The efficiency of the assembly will not vary in accordance with the shape of the pole (101). The pole herein used is round for illustrative purposes and not limiting the scope of the invention. The pole mounting assembly comprises at least one channel. The channel may be of any type, size and material. The channel herein is used is a 'C channel have plurality of grooves, the channel is preferably made up of a good metal, or any material serves the same purpose having good strength and higher fracture point. The C-channel (frame) that is fit onto the pole which supports the article or device to be mounted, at least one clamp is inserted into the channel, the clamp used is capable to stick into the channel which self-locked into the grooves of the channel. A flexible strip comprising apertures or holes. The apertures and holes can be of any size and shape. The apertures are formed at pre-defined distance. The flexible strip is inserted through a second end of channel and other end is bent around the pole and locked firmly through aperture to said clamp. The clamp may be attached to a hook which is inserted into the aperture of the flexible strip to lock. In one embodiment, at least one slot disposed on the channel, preferably disposed in the middle of the channel. A device comprising a strip having at least one flank is hanged over the channel wherein said flank is inserted into said slot of said channel to lock said device over said channel. The device may be street light, data transmission, capacitor banks, switching systems, cameras, wireless transmitters etc.

The channel, clamp, bolt and the hook used in the assembly, is shown in Fig. 2. The channel used is preferably a 'C channel. The channel is preferably having a slot over the channel and space for the bolts to give extra safety and locking to the device which is being hanged over the channel. A clamp is self-stuck one and can be inserted from the one side of the channel. The clamp may have a hook which can be inserted into the aperture of the flexible strip and lock the assembly over the pole
Referring Fig 3-6, describes the assembly and working of the invention the C-channel is manually held on the pole. One end of the flexible strip that contains lockable grooves is twisted and locked into the channel. The strip is rotated around the pole. Hook 2's bent end is now inserted into the selected T-shaped hole of the flexible strip so it is ready for the final fine tuning to tightly hold he pole. If any part of the strip remains unused, it is bent backwards towards the point of origin so it does not obstruct the user in any way. Hook 2's other end opposite to the T-shaped bend contains a hole through which the bolt of Hook 1 passes through and the final nut is fitted. Nuts are used to tighten the bolt and firmly hold its place so that both hook 1 and hook 2 interconnects the strip and the channel. This bolt is the one welded to hook 1. As the Hook is already inserted into the C-channel it firmly holds the article to the pole which is the purpose.
As stated above, the C-channel no. 1 contains a slot. The article fitted with the counter mechanism at the top contains a small extension to get locked in the above said socket. Two screws are fitted into the threaded holes already present on the frame. This makes sure that the article's top bracket will firmly hold onto the C-channel no. 1. This arrangement is contemplated to ensure that a person need not hold the article during the process of fixing to the pole. He will only fix the top channel no. 1 to the pole which is light in weight and the article is just linked with the slot and then fastened comfortably.
The bottom side of the article is fitted with a channel which has a slot into which hook 1 will be slid and adjusted based on the diameter of the pole. Finally the strip is fixed to the hook 1 using hook 2 as explained earlier.

The holes provided in the strip make the system adjustable to a pole of circumference more than 100 mm. This system would not be able to best serve its purpose for poles with circumference less than 100mm. It can be used to install articles on any pole shaped round or rectangular surface. While circular surfaces require the use of strips to maintain the tightness, flat surfaces like walls will only need the C-channel and article's brackets.
It is to be understood that many changes may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. In substantial changes from the claimed subject matter as viewed by a person with ordinary skill in the art, now known or later devised, are expressly contemplated as being equivalently within the scope of the claims. Therefore, obvious substitutions now or later known to one with ordinary skill in the art are defined to be within the scope of the defined elements.
