Abstract: This invention relates to a portable compact heating article for a food or a liquid. The portable heating article 100 for heating a food or a liquid comprising: a platform 101 for placing a container; an induction coil 102 place underneath of said platform 101; a rechargeable battery 104b to energize said induction coil 102; a switch 103 to start or shut-off said rechargeable battery 104b; a plurality of ports 108a, 108b, 108c for charging said rechargeable battery 104b; a temperature adjusting buttons 103; a digital display 105 to indicate a temperature; and a solar panel 109 for charging said rechargeable battery. The portable heating article is very compact design and suitable for the smaller container. The portable heating article’s platform diameter is less than 75 mm. (Figure 1)
Claims:We Claim:
1. A portable heating article 100 for heating a food or a liquid comprising:
A platform 101 for placing a container;
An Induction coil 102 place underneath of said platform 101;
A rechargeable battery 104b to energize said induction coil 102;
A switch 103 to start or shut-off said rechargeable battery 104b;
A plurality of ports 108a, 108b, 108c for charging said rechargeable battery 104b;
A Temperature adjusting buttons 103;
A digital display 105 to indicate a temperature; and
A solar panel 109 for charging said rechargeable battery.
2. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said article 100 further comprises a processor 104a which controls said rechargeable battery 104b and also controls a temperature of said article 100.
3. Claim 3: The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said container can be made up of any material such as porcelain, china clay, stainless steel, steel, plastic, metallic, glass.
4. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said platform 101 having a diameter of less than 75 mm.
5. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said food or said liquid comprises water, beverages, coffee, tea, soup, porridge, oats, astringency, noodles, dalia.
6. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said article 100 can be shut-off either manually or automatically.
7. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the ports is USB port 108a for charging said rechargeable battery by electronic devices.
8. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the ports is design to attach cigarette adapter plug which can be used while driving the vehicle.
9. The portable heating article for a food or a liquid according to claim 1, wherein said article further comprises a LED indicator 107 which indicates that heating is ON or OFF.
, Description:(1) FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to the field of liquid heater or beverage heater. The invention, particularly relates to a portable compact heating article for a food or a liquid.
(2) BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Beverage makers especially those for brewing tea and coffee are of increasing interest due to the resurgence of consumer interest in quality, flavorful tea and more especially coffee. However, this desire is counter balanced by the need to make tea or coffee, quickly and easily to meet the time demands of busy people living fast paced lives with little time to make a pot of coffee. Further, commercially prepared food designed for ease of consumption. In the market, there is also rise in availability of portable self-heating containers for heating comestible items such as liquids, beverages, soups and the like without the necessary use of an external heat source such as a stove, a microwave oven, a campfire or the like. Further, the use of cup warmers/heaters are known in the prior art. More specifically, cup warmers heretofore devised and utilized are known to consist basically of familiar, expected and obvious structural configurations, notwithstanding the myriad of designs encompassed by the crowded prior art which have been developed for the fulfillment of countless objectives and requirements.
A number of different types of devices for heating and/or warming mugs/cups/containers are available in the prior art. Prior art document, US5928542 discloses a new solar power beverage warmer for heating a beverage contained therein. The inventive device includes a container having a bottom and a perimeter side wall. The inner surface of the container defines a reservoir adapted for holding a liquid and a heating element is provided on the inner surface of the container to heat liquids in the reservoir. The device also includes a base having a plurality of photovoltaic cells. The base has a recess adapted for receiving the bottom of the container therein so that the container is electrically connectable to the photovoltaic cells of the base when the container is inserted into the recess.
Another prior art document, US4238666 discloses a portable liquid heating device includes a single service beverage container defining a cavity for a quantity of liquid and a removable electric heating unit disposed in the container to heat the liquid. The heating unit includes a top housing having a radial flange adapted to rest on the rim of the container in spaced relation thereto to vent the container.
Yet another prior art document, US7997786 discloses a heating and cooling cup includes a cup body, a stirring device, a heating and cooling chip, and a heat sink module. A heat conductive block is disposed under the cup body, the heat conductive block abuts against the heating and cooling chip, the stirring device has a stirring rod disposed in the cup body, and a bottom surface of the heating and cooling chip abuts against a heat conductive block of the heat sink module.
Yet another prior art document, US5508494 discloses a beverage cup for warming beverages that is made of thermally and electrically insulating material, such as injection molded low-melting point plastic, and has an integral heater element that warms the beverage. Also disclosed is a system for retracting the power cord of the cup.
Yet another prior art document, US6123010 discloses portable hot beverage machine. This device also has a detachable beverage mug which can be operated independently from the beverage maker. Both units have self-contained carrying cases and may be powered by electric, rechargeable battery pack, solar power, a wind up generator, and a cigarette lighter plug. safety features include removable overflow reservoir will spill prevention lip, on and off switch with built in timer, insulated receptacle to hold the liquids, and mounting brackets to stabilize units.
Yet another prior art document, US6075229 discloses a new cup warmer holder for keeping beverages, such as coffee, hot while in a vehicle, such as a car. The inventive device includes a base having upper and lower surfaces with a receiving member extending from the upper surface. The receiving member has a central bore extending between its top and the bottom. A cup with an open top and a handle positioned towards its top is removably inserted through the top of the receiving member into the central bore of the receiving member. A heater is provided for heating an item within the central bore of the receiving member.
However, above mentioned references and many other similar references has one or more of the following shortcomings: (a) Expensive; (b) Complex designing of the containers; (c) some of them are self-heating containers; (d) only suitable for metallic containers; (e) not suitable for small mug/cup; (f) only works with electrical connections; and (f) not portable.
There remains a constant need to make self-heating containers for several items such as liquid (beverages); ready-to-cook porridges (e.g. oats, noodles, rice); and medical astringencies. The present application addresses the above mentioned concerns and short comings with regard to providing portable compact liquid heater.
(3) SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
In the view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of accessories of heating or warming a beverage cup / mug / container now present in the prior art, the present invention provides an improved portable heating article. As such, the general purpose of the present invention, which will be described subsequently in greater detail, is to provide a new and improved compact design heating article which has all the advantages of the prior art and none of the disadvantages.
An object of the invention is to provide a portable heating article for a food or a liquid comprising: a platform for placing a container; an Induction coil place underneath of said platform; a rechargeable battery to energize said induction coil; a switch to start or shut-off said rechargeable battery; a plurality of ports for charging said rechargeable battery;a temperature adjusting buttons; a digital display to indicate a temperature; and a solar panel for charging said rechargeable battery.
It is another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein said article further comprises a processor which controls said rechargeable battery and also controls a temperature of said article.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein said container can be made up of any material such as porcelain, china clay, stainless steel, steel, plastic, metallic, glass.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein platform having a diameter of less than 75 mm.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein said food or said liquid comprises water, beverages, coffee, tea, soup, porridge, oats, astringency, noodles, dalia.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein said article can be shut-off either manually or automatically.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein at least one of the ports is USB port for charging said rechargeable battery by electronic devices.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein at least one of the ports is design to attach cigarette adapter plug which can be used while driving the vehicle.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide the portable heating article for a food or a liquid, wherein said article further comprises a LED indicator which indicates that heating is ON or OFF.

The invention is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced and carried out in various ways. (5) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the following detailed description, reference is made to the accompanying drawings which form a part hereof, and in which is shown by way of illustration specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention, and it is to be understood that the embodiments may be combined, or that other embodiments may be utilized and that structural and logical changes may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
Generally we have to drink hot water after we had food, to digest properly and to maintain our health properly. Also we need hot water to drink when we affected by cold or cough. But nowadays everywhere we will get cold water easily, in some hotels if customers ask hot water they boil the few amount of water. If we are in travel or in office or in college or somewhere except hotels and houses hot water is not available when we required. To avoid those problems, the present invention provides portable, compact, easy to carry heating article for a food or a liquid. The portable compact heating article can be used for heating or warming any water, beverages, semiliquid food, and semisolid food items. This is portable device, it fits inside our pocket.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 1 depicts perspective view of the portable heating article. The portable heating article 100 for heating a food or a liquid is disclosed. The article 100 comprising: a platform 101 for placing a container (not shown in the picture); an induction coil 102 place underneath of said platform 101; a rechargeable battery 104b to energize said induction coil 102; a switch 103 to start or shut-off said rechargeable battery 104b; a plurality of ports 108a, 108b, 108c for charging said rechargeable battery 104b; a Temperature adjusting buttons 103; a digital display 105 to indicate a temperature; and a solar panel 109 for charging said rechargeable battery. The container can made up of any material such as porcelain, china clay, stainless steel, steel, plastic, metallic, glass. Further, the container may have flat surface or curved surface, please note that flat surface takes less time to heat a food or a liquid filled in the container. The article 100 further comprises an attachment (ring type) structure 110 so when the container is place on to the platform 101, the container won’t move or displace easily. The diameter of the platform 101 can be less than 75 mm, so it can hold smaller container, mug or cup. The portable heating article which can heat water, beverages, soup, or any other food items filled inside the container. The food or said liquid comprises water, beverages, coffee, tea, soup, porridge, oats, astringency, noodles, dalia or any ready-to-eat food for which cooking/heating liquid is require. The article 100 can be shut-off either manually by pressing the switch 103 or alternatively the article 100 can be shut-off automatically once the pre-set temperature is attained. The portable heating article 100 has different type of charging points 108a, 108b, 108c. One charging point 108a is USB port and design to connect electronic devices via USB cables. Another charging point 108c is like cigarette charging plug, which can be used to charge the article while the user is driving the vehicle. Third charging point 108b is design to connect simple any normal charging adapter. The article 100 comprises LED indicator 107 which is green while the rechargeable battery 104b is supplying power to the induction coil 102 (means article is ON) which turns to red when the article 100 is OFF and the desire temperature is already reached by the article. The article 100 used rechargeable battery so the user can carry easily the heating article. Further, the rechargeable battery can be charge by various means, one of the means is solar source. Solar panel 109 is also fixed on the heating article, so it can provide energy source to the rechargeable battery. It will also help to save energy bills as well and during travelling when there is no charging facility is available, the solar panel will help a lot.
The portable heating article is help to heat little amount of water/beverages can heat through mug/cup. First the container is place on the platform, then the article can be turn ON by pressing the switch. Afterwards, the user can set the desire temperature by using the temperature adjusting buttons. While adjusting display will show the temperature status of manual adjustment, at require temperature set heating process by pressing both temperature adjustment button. The display will also indicate the current / real temperature of the container. Once the temperature is set-up then the LED glows (Green) which indicates that the heating article is ON. After heat reaches to the preset temperature, automatically heating process will stop. Manually, the user can also press same switch to turn-off the device. One can see temperature status through display with the help of processor (Micro controller) and input device. When the device is switched LED will not glow. While charging the device, LED will glow in red color to indicate it is in charging process. In the device circumstance solar panel is placed for self-charging or charging port is placed for alternative charging process. This device will suitable for all type of material, but heating will change for each materials. No need of any metallic surface to make connection with the coil. This device heat faster in flat surfaces, but in curve surface it will take time heat. In this device less than 75mm diameter cup/mug can place.
