PREAMBLE OF THE DESCRIPTION:
THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBES THE INVENTION AND THE MANNER IN WHICH IT IS PERFORMED
A) TECHNICAL FIELD
[001] The present invention generally relates to chaupals for villages and particularly to e-chaupal for carrying out gatherings or meetings in villages or rural places. The embodiments of the present invention relate to a solar energy powered e-chaupal system to be installed in a society for carrying out meetings and gatherings.

B) BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
[002] The trend of India’s energy consumption out of conventional sources is found to increase with increased industrialization and civilization aspects of the society. For the modern era too, the increasing trend of energy consumption using conventional sources is alarming for all researchers working in power sector. The electricity consumption in Industry sector and commercial sector has increased at a much faster pace compared to other sectors during 2005-06 to 2013-14 with CAGRs of 10.97% and 8.82% respectively. Thus, the increasing demand and scarcity in conventional sources has triggered the scientist to pave way for the development of research in the field of renewable energy sources especially solar energy sector.
[003] Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems convert solar energy directly into electrical energy. Basic conversion device used is known as a solar photovoltaic cell or a solar cell. Although other light sources may also produce photovoltaic electricity, but that is not much significant. A solar cell is basically an electrical current source, driven by a flux radiation. Solar cells were first produced in 1954 and were rapidly developed to provide power for space satellites based on semiconductor electronics technology. Its terrestrial applications were considered seriously only after oil crisis of 1973 when a real need of alternative energy sources was felt globally for the first time. Efficient power utilization depends not only on efficient generation in the cell but also on the dynamic load matching in the external circuit.
[004] Earlier major uses of photovoltaics have been in space satellites, remote radio communication booster stations and marine warning lights. These are also increasingly being used for lighting, water pumping and medical refrigeration in remote areas where electricity from grid is not available or difficult to establish transmission and distribution lines especially in developing countries. Solar powered vehicles and battery charging are some of the recent interesting applications of solar PV system.
[005] In the view of foregoing, there is a need to further enhance the applications of the solar power cells and to make use of solar power cells in social circles.
[006] The above-mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.

C) OBJECT OF INVENTION
[007] The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an e-chaupal system powered by solar energy to carry out meetings and gatherings in a society.
[008] Another object of the present invention is to provide an e-chaupal system comprising solar cell panels for generating electricity.
[009] Yet another object of the present invention is to harness solar energy to carry out the meetings or gatherings in a rural or village areas or a place in a society to have a centralized place to use Wi-Fi, FM-radio, mobile charging system, card, swipping machine, intense light, etc.
[0010] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a system with a modular assembly having less requirement of maintenance and ease-of-installation feature.

F) DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
[0020] In the following detailed description, a reference is made to the accompanying drawings that form a part hereof, and in which the specific embodiments that may be practiced is shown by way of illustration. The embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the embodiments and it is to be understood that the logical, mechanical and other changes may be made without departing from the scope of the embodiments. The following detailed description is therefore not to be taken in a limiting sense.
[0021] The various embodiments of the present invention provide an e-chaupal which can be used in social circles or societies or any meetings or for any small gatherings. The present invention provides an innovative concept of harnessing solar power for societal use, particularly for remote tribal villages of Chhattisgarh or any other state where there is no electricity.
[0022] A chaupal is a community building or space in the rural areas. Chaupal is the hub of community life in villages, especially for male inhabitants. In smaller villages, a chaupal can be a simple raised platform that is shaded by a large tree, typically a neem, banyan or peepal fig tree. In larger villages, the chaupal is an elaborate structure that also doubles as a community guesthouse. The chaupals are constructed and maintained using community funds, sometimes collected in the village using community donations. Although chaupals are fundamentally a feature of rural life, in the popular perception a chaupal is any place where people "sit and discuss their problems, celebrate their pleasures, share the pains of an individual, family or a particular group, sort out their disputes."
[0023] FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a portable social hub 100, according to one embodiment of the present invention. With respect to FIG. 1, at least two solar panels 101 of 40W each are connected in parallel on a mechanical structure having at least two equal gradients of 22.4° (typical latitude of a village) at a height of 7 feet to optimise a solar insolation throughout a day. A charge controller 102 and a controller unit or an electronic circuit board 103 have been designed to drive a plurality of e-gadgets namely mobile phones, a RF Radio, a 9-watt LED bulb, a pen drive, a swipe machine, a wi-fi (20 people access) and a laptop. The portable social hub 100 has a 28Ah tubular battery house inside a seater base 104 to optimize a charging rate. It is extremely helpful for use in mandees (village market), road side vendors Anganbadi workers and village panchayat.
[0024] The portable social hub comprises a solar panel, solar charge controller, battery, connecting leads and mechanical support structure for holding all components under sunlight. The solar panel directly converts sunlight energy into electricity. The energy is coming from sun in the form of photons, that is absorbed by solar panels. The solar panels (40W) transfer power to solar charge controller for further control and synchronisation. The controller can automatically manage the work of Solar Panel and battery in Solar System, which is below 120W (12V) or below 240W (24V). In the present invention, 28Ah battery is connected to solar charge controller. For all external load connections, separate leads and connectors are provided in charge controller. The charge controller provides multiple ports for charging the mobile phones and 12V load terminal for other external connection of loads.
[0025] According to embodiment of the present invention, the e-chaupal can be easily transported from one place to other. The mechanical support structure has been mode robust and a bit heavier to take care of wind speed and set up stability, when it is kept in village market or at public place. Appropriate boxes and extended panels have been made for keeping battery and other devices like mobile charging leads, FM radio, Wi-Fi devices etc. For uniform lighting, LED strip has been fixed all around the bottom part of the solar panels. The solar panels have been fastened with main device for its safety and security. The system has flexibility to orient the solar panel in the direction of sun to fetch maximum solar radiation.
[0026] The designed mechanical structures carry all the components of e-Chaupal. The solar module mounted on the top of the structure have gradient of 22.4 which is latitude of Raipur. It is to be noted that maximum solar radiation can be collected only when the inclination of solar panel is equal to the latitude of a particular geographical location of the place.
