DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The given invention relates to a portable drinking water straw, infused and energised with different types of naturally occurring crystals attached to the straw, to energise the drinking water sipped by the straw from the water bottle.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Water is a key ingredient of our life energy. There are various products available that allow purification of water to make it potable. But there is a dearth of portable products available in the markets that allow energising of drinking water.

Ilse Truter in his article “Crystal Healing and Gem Therapy – Using energy vibrations to heal and harmonise” in the SA Pharmaceutical Journal – September 2006 has stated that ‘…Crystals have been used to energise water by people who believe in the vibration therapy and crystal healing since the ancient times…’ But this practice has limited applications due to various factors like the size of independent crystals, nature of raw crystals, size of the water container, issues with portability of the heavy crystals to name a few.

Korotkov KG, Churganov OA, Gavrilova EA, Belodedova MA, Korotkova AK in their article “Influence of drinking structured water to human psychophysiology” (J Appl Biotechnol Bioeng. 2019;6(4):171-177) have stated that ‘… structured water contributes to the reduction of body fat mass, improvement of water-salt metabolism, improvement of kidney excretory function, reduction of endogenous intoxication of the body, increase of adaptive and stress-response and reserve capacity of the body even in adverse seasonal, climatic and epidemiological period….’

Kristine D. Carlos in her thesis “Crystal Healing Practices in the Western World and Beyond” (University of Central Florida, 2018) has concluded that ‘… Although the culture of crystal and spiritual healing is an ancient practice, it is being recycled in a way where the rules and rituals are shared from across cultures, bringing together a new group of spiritualists.’

There is abundant literature on the contribution to the healing and therapeutic uses of structured and energised water. There is a lack of functional and usable products/ tools that can enrich both physical and spiritual life energies of drinking water on exposure to crystal energies. Glass Straws with a Crystal Attached are invented to solve this limitation and thereby help in energising the drinking water by the Crystal Straw, by harnessing crystal energies to promote physical and spiritual wellness of the individual drinking the energised water.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The invention is a portable stainless steel drinking water straw attached with options of the attached crystal, so that the drinking water sipped through it is in a close proximity with the crystal. When the drinking water is directly exposed to the crystal, the crystal energises the water to promote physical and spiritual wellness of the individual drinking the energised water.

DESIGN OF THE INVENTION:
The Design of the invented Product has been applied for Registration by the Design Application Number: 322888-001 on the 23rd of October 2019 under the Proprietorship of ‘M/s Tanvi Bhatt International LLP’, as ‘Soma Straws’. The same has been registered by the Notification dated 8th January 2021 and the Status is in force upto 23rd October 2029.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
(i) Side View of the Straw:

a) The Straw is made up of four different parts assembled together. The longer stainless steel straw section (1); the stainless steel ring (2); the crystal (3); and the shorter stainless steel straw section (4).
b) The longer stainless steel straw section (1) is hollow and open on both the upper end (1A) and the lower end (1B).
c) The lower end (1B) of the longer straw section (1) is grooved on the outside.
d) The shorter stainless steel straw section (4) is hollow and open on both the upper end (4A) and the lower end (4C).
e) The upper end (4A) of the shorter straw section (4) is grooved on the outside.
f) There is a stainless steel ring (4B) on the outside in the middle of the shorter stainless steel straw section (4) to support the crystal piece (3).
g) The crystal piece (3) is a hollow six-sided piece with a tapering width of its sides towards the top and the bottom ends.
h) The shorter stainless steel straw section (4) enters the crystal piece (3) from the bottom hollow opening of the crystal piece (3B), and comes out from the top hollow end of the crystal piece (3A).
i) Once the crystal piece (3) is fitted on to the shorter stainless steel straw section (4), the crystal piece (3) rests on the stainless steel ring (4B) of the shorter straw section (4); and the upper grooved end (4A) of the shorter straw section (4) is visible above the top end of the crystal piece (3A).
j) The stainless steel ring (2) is screwed on top of the grooved end (4A) of the shorter stainless steel straw section (4) holding the crystal in position.
k) The lower grooved end (1B) of the longer stainless steel straw section (1) is then screwed inside the top end (4A) of the shorter stainless steel straw section (4).

CRYSTALS ATTACHED TO THE STRAW:
Crystals sourced are naturally occurring and are cut and polished to the required size. The setting of the Crystal in the Straw as described above allows the water drunk through the straw to be in close proximity with the crystal while doing so. The shape and size of the crystal attached can also vary, as long as the crystal is cut or carved to any shape that fits on the stainless steel sections that hold the crystal in place such that the crystal is exposed to be in direct contact with the drinking water. Since the Crystal comes in close proximity with the water to be energised, the following five crystal options are selected based on their known healing properties:
a) Rose Quartz Crystal – The Love Stone

The natural energy of the crystal is used to energise the drinking water with high vibration and spiritual energies of the crystal kept in direct contact or in close proximity of the drinking water to make the Crystal Welixir.
A. CLEANSE: Place the crystal under running water for a few minutes to cleanse its former energies.
B. CHARGE: Charge the crystal with an intention that one wishes to manifest – ideally on a full moon night.
C. CONSUME: Attach the crystal to the Straw and wait for a few minutes before the Crystal Welixir can be enjoyed.
,CLAIMS:We Claim,
1. A portable Stainless Steel drinking water straw, which is thin and hollow and open at both ends; which is an assembly of four parts, namely a longer stainless steel part; a shorter stainless steel part; a stainless steel ring; and a crystal.
2. The longer stainless steel part as claimed in Claim 1 is hollow and its lower end is grooved on the outside.
3. The shorter stainless steel part as claimed in Claim 1 is hollow and its upper end is grooved on the outside, and has an outer stainless steel ring in the middle.
4. The stainless steel ring as claimed in Claim 1 screws the lower end of the longer stainless steel part and the upper end of the shorter stainless steel part together, after the crystal is slid over it.
5. The Crystal as claimed in Claim 1 is a hollow six-sided piece with a tapering width of its sides towards the top and the bottom ends, which slides over the shorter stainless steel part of the straw.
6. The Crystal piece as claimed in Claim 5 has five options of naturally occurring crystals namely a) Rose Quartz, b) Clear Quartz, c) Smoky Quartz, d) Amethyst, and e) Obsidian, each with different healing properties.
7. The shape and size of the Crystal piece as claimed in Claim 5 is variable, so long as it is cut or carved to any shape that fits the stainless steel sections that hold the crystal in place, such that the crystal is exposed to be in direct contact with the drinking water.
