PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner
in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to a power system for a vehicle and more particularly this invention relates to power saving system for an automobile.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Generally modern vehicle comprises various electrically operated components like ABS system, Retarder System, Power Steering System, electrically actuated Air Conditioner System and other electrical loads such as electrical lamps and so forth. Use of such devices increases power consumption. In order to reduce power consumption , a power saving system for an automobile is developed. This system is used for saving the power and the saved power can be used for additional and further power requirements.
OBJECT OF INVENTION
Main object of the present invention is to provide power saving system for a vehicle.
Another object of the invention is to provide power saving system for a vehicle which is simple and cost effective
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
In accordance with present invention, power saving system for an automobile comprise; a power controller (1), first switch means (2) for connecting to electrical load, relay means (3), second switch means (4) and plurality of load means (5), wherein said power controller (1) is interfaced with said relay means (3) and said first
2
switch means (2) is interfaced with second switch means (4) which is closed (A) in normal operation and is open (B) when said relay means (3) is energized.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION:
A power saving system for an automobile according to this invention comprises a power controller, a first switch connected to a plurality of electrical load members through a second switch interfaced with said first switch and a relay means interfaced with said power controller, said second switch being in normally closed position during operating conditions of said automobile and is actuatable to open position on energization of said relay means to disconnect said electrical load members.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING
Figure-01 shows the power saver system in accordance with the present invention. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
Referring now to the drawings wherein the showings are for the purpose of illustrating a preferred embodiment of the invention only, and not for the purpose of limiting the same,
Now referring to figure-01, In accordance with present invention, power saver system of an automobile comprise; a power controller (1) , first switch means (2) for connecting to electrical load, relay means (3), second switch means (4) and plurality of load means (5), wherein said power controller (1) is interfaced with said relay means (3) and said first switch means (2) is interfaced with second switch means (4)
3
being normally closed (A) in normal operation and normally open (B) in case said relay means (3) is energized.
Said Power Controller (1) in Economy Mode for a vehicle can operate said electrical loads (5) upon turning ON a key switch means and thus lowering of remaining capacity of main battery can be prevented.
Said Power controller (1) in Economy Mode and first Switch means (2) are connected with a set of said relay-means (3) which is normally closed (NC) type having all the said electrical loads connected to it. At the instant of zero speed of an automobile, the coil of the said relay means (3) is actuated and hence it makes the switching action and the contacts of the said relay means (3) will break thus disconnecting the various electrical loads (5), and thus finally saving the power.
The foregoing description is a specific embodiment of the present invention. It should be appreciated that this embodiment is described for purpose of illustration only, and that numerous alterations and modifications may be practiced by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. It is intended that all such modifications and alterations be included insofar as they come within the scope of the invention as claimed or the equivalents thereof.
