A Process For Preparation Of A Pharmaceutical Composition Containing Anti Diabetic Substances For Oral Administration
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparation of a pharmaceutical composition containing anti-diabetic substance such as metformin or its pharmaceutically effective salts or pro-drug as modified release either singly or in combination with other drugs and the process of the preparation for the same. The composition prepared by the disclosed process comprises of anti-diabetic biguanide and/or other drugs, fillers viz. polymers, lipid, bulking agents, disintegrants, binders etc. to formulate a stable and efficacious pharmaceutical composition for administration to mammals.
