USER-CONTRIBUTION. IN. MAKIN-G ''A STAR';
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to a process for assisting World Wide Web
users in registering at a selectrve World Wide Website and becomfng A
Star using that particular website. In particular, the present invention
provides online registration in an appropriate category for a user so that,
upon registration at a "Be a Star" web site,. the user may perform the
registered activity. Further, after performing stepwise activity as available
on the website and after qualifying and winning the available stepwise
activities, the winner will become "A Star'' and receives a defined award.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
The World Wide Web f.YVWW) is a global communications network having
a user and server model for communications. That is users which uses
"web browsers" and navigate the WWW to access desired server nodes
(known as web sites) for at least obtaining information and registration at
the website.
Every industry including entertainment, media, .sport, politics, cooking, art,
sports etc. is constantly struggling to locate the next big talent. Often,
happenstance has more to do with an artist reaching fame than does any
organized industry effort. Although person who achieves fame in a
particular field uses to capitalize the coming up talent and are always
looking for new coming up talent. The person who already had achieved a
fame and the person who wants to achieve a fame needs a common
platform for recognition of new coming up talent. Additionally, the new
coming up talent also wants to gain name as well as economical benefit
after getting fame or after becoming A Star .

One way that the industry has traditionally attempted to locate new talent
is through talent shows as present on the televfsion. ihe talent shows are
used to be judged by the experts, the experts selects the talented person
and then the selected talented person use to perform in presence of
experts, thereafter the program is telecasted on the television. The
audience can see the talent program on the scheduled time on the
television and can vote for his/her favourite contestant. Further, on the
basis of numbers provided by the experts and the number of votes, the
winner is selected after a number of series of contest. The talent shows
are shouted at a pre scheduled time at a pre-scheduled place with a fix
amount of public. After shouting the talent show, the talent show is
broadcasted at the television at a fix time. The audience who wants to
watch the talent show will have to wait for the broadcast of the show.
Further, the audience votes by text message for contestants so that the
contestants are gradually weeded out over a series of shows. Although the
pubiTc has input into the selection of the winning artist but has no input in
the selection of the talented contestants. In addition, the live performances
at scheduled broadcast times effectively restrict audience input to that
portion of the public who are free to watch the program.
Typically, the talent shows are present in the field of entertainment and are
restricted to the television. A number of business units have developed
Web sites located on the internet to provide advertising and marketing
services to business units and are willing to provides products and
services to the customers. However, it is difficult to attract audience on the
website and participate them in the selection procedure of the talented
person in a particular field. This process. of attraction of audience at a
website and selection of a talented person is difficult.
Usually, the information related to Actor, Singer, Dancer, Cooking, Social
Activfty, Presenter/Journalist, Radio Jockey, etc. are avaiiabie on the

different websites. Further, such registration of all types of users at the
peculiar website is also important in the field of global communication
network. Some information may be useful in determining the
degree of interest in services and products by web site users. This
information is used by the website during the registration of the users and
degree of interest will be measured by the provided information.
Additionally these websites are user based and are used to a particular
type of user. On none of the websites all types of artists can registered
and take economical benefit from the available websites.
Online retail sites and social networking sites have gained popularity. Yet
despite the popularity of these sites, . their existences have largely
remained distinct as a result, and the number of these sites seems to have
increased. It remains difficult for various websites to provide economical
benefit to the registered users who are not celebrity or a star. For example,
this applies to a celebrity, star, .retailers and others seeking to capture an
online audience. For example, for celebrities, conventional
methods of interacting with fans are available. Such websites use to
provide the economical benefit to the celebrities and not the normal users
of website. Some official sites of celebrities and stars are also available
which use to aspire the celebrities and stars. For a normal artist, it remains
difficult to be seen and heard by the public. In part due to the large
number of sites on the internet, it remains difficult for talented artist/s to
build a fan-base through online activity. Another problem is the cost
associated with creating and/or maintaining an individual website. Further,
·another problem associated with these sites that the talented artist cannot
become A Star through available online sites. One of the main
disadvantages of the available sites is that the talented artists do not get
work and economical benefit from these sites.

Therefore, it would be advantageous to alleviate many of the above
difficulties by providing registration to the talented artists and providing the
economical benefit to the selected artists. Further, it would be
advantageous to participate the audience through the website in selection
of the talented artist.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
The present invention is a process for becoming A Star using
www.beastar.com website. The process includes registration of an artist fn
the selected field at the website, shoot the Audition through a means, Fill
the details as required in Form at the website, Upload the audition/success
story, receive Audition Code number at provided e-mail-id & mobile
number, any user/audience at website can like and comment on the
performance, the audition will be analysed by a panel of experts/judges,
selected artists will be displayed for the voting, any user/audience of
website can vote for the uploaded audition. Thereafter, experts/judges
opinion and online voting numbers will be counted, based on the
experts/judges opinion and online users/audience voting few talented
artists will be selected. The selected artists will then perform Face to Face
audition, thereafter experts/judges will select few artists from the 'Face To
Face' performance round. Later, 100 participants/talented artists for main
lead will be selected through respected experts/judges. Lastly, selection
for the SlAlUS U~DATE Film (Other Films) is completed, and the ffnal
selected talented artist will receive described professional fees, Gifts and
Certificate of Appreciation.

illustrating the Applicant's best mode for practicing the invention and

A network is a collection of links and websites are available for different
types of users. Examples of users includes Actor, Presenter/Journalist,
Radio Jockey, Dancer (individual or group), Singer, Sportsman, Politician,
Cook, Painter, Photographer, Model, Body Builder, Writer, Entrepreneur,
Socialist, Brave, etc.
The present invention provides economical benefits to registered and
selected Artist which is not lfmited to Actor, Presenter/Journalist, ~adfo

Referring to Figure 1, the assistance described above is organize in an
interactive network computer environment or a Website 15. The website
herein is www.beastar.com is a server application that accepts connection
between participants/artists, experts and users of website. The user
programs, such as web browsers, allows the participants/artists, experts
and users of website to access the information database stored on the
Website.
In the present invention, artists/participants 16 can participate in the
selected field at the website and can register themselves and upload the
video on the website 15. The information database 14 stores and
provides all the data. An interface 12 allows remote connection of the
participants/artists 16 and the database 14. The interface 12 allows remote
connection of the participants/artists 16 and the website 15. The interface
12 allows remote connection of the team of experts 11 and the database

Referring to Figure 2, the "Be A Star" system that operates in accordance
with the present invention. The system includes a participant computer 1,

participant computer 1, expert computer 2, and audience computer 3 may
be any type of computing devices that allow a user to interactively browse
websites via a web-browser 5. For example, the participant computer 1,
expert computer 2, and audience computer 3 may be a personal computer
that runs the Windows operating system.
The participant computer 1, expert computer 2, audience computer 3 and
web server computer 4 are connected through interface 12. The web
server computer 4 also includes the database t4 whfch store and provides
the data, information and performance related to participants/artists. The
database 14 also analyze the data related to experts opinion and audience
votes and provide the final result of the winner.
Referring to Figure 3, either users, or a system provider, create a contest
for an identified category (31 0). The participants register themselves
through "BE A STAR" website for an identified category (311). The system
accepts the uploaded video within the submission deadline (312). The
system then presents the uploaded videos to the audience for review and
rating (313). Further, the system provides the uploaded videos to the
experts for their opinion (314). The talented then artist selected on the
basis of experts opinion and audience voting (315). Further, face to face
audition performance of selected artists was performed (316). Finally, on
the basis of experts opinion and audience vote a winner i.e. ''A Star" is
selected (317). The Star winner receives described professional fees, gifts
and certificate of appreciation from the system (318).
Referring to Figure 4, the user/participants opens "Be A Star" website
(410). The participants read the audition dialogues of status update of
interested field ( 411 ). The participants shoot the performance and submit
the audition ( 412). The audition will be conducted within described peri'od

audition number to the participants. The audition code number will be
received on participant's email-id & mobile (414). The audition will be
uploaded on various websites such as you tube, hotstar,

channels or any print and electronic media (415). The website is open to
every user and every user can watch the performance of the participants
on the website. The audience can like, comment and vote on the
performance of participants using the system (416). Thereafter, audition
wiH be analysed by the experts (411} and the experts give their opinion on
the performance of the participants. The experts opinion and audience
voting count will decide the final1000 participants (418). Thereafter, FACE
TO FACE audition of participants is performed (419). Further, final best
participants will be selected for the status update film (420). The winning
artist/participant will receive described economical benefits, gifts and
certificate of appreciation (421).
"Be a Star" website uses to promote the individual or group activities I
skills to the public and give recognition, respect, fame & economic benefit
to a artist and helps the artist to become A Star out of million of people
across the globe. The award "BE A STAR" is provided every year in
respective mention segments.

Industry project a feature film STATUS UPDATE.
2) Read the Audition Dialogues of STATUS UPDATE (Any Other Film)
in which character out of 10 lead Characters the artist/participant fs
interested to participate.
3) Audition will be conducted within described period of time.
(Can be increased or decreased according to response)
4) Shoot the audition of artist/participant through available means such
as mobile, camera, web camera or any other movie capture
equipment.
5) Fill the audition form and read all terms & conditions thoroughly.

7) Immediately Audition Code No. will be received on the
participants/artists email-id & mobile.
8) The audition will be uploaded on various websites such as You

voting on the website.
13)Judges/Experts Opinion and voting count will decide the final 1000
artists. Then the final 1000 participants will perform Face to Face
Audition.
·14) Face to Face Audition will be held at mentioned or decided
places/cities. The artist can select the place/city as per the
convenience.

15)Face to Face Audition will be performed in front of judges/experts
and the performance will be live.
16) Top 100 artists will be selected by the Judges, including 10 for Main
Roll, 15 for Second Lead and 75 for Character Artists.
17) This audition will also be uploading on social media websites, digital
medias, telecast on TV channels, published in newspapers &
magazines.
18) The audience then again votes for their favorite participant/artist.
19) Finally 10 selected artists for "Main Lead" will be selected through
respected judges, 15 Participants will be for second lead and 15 for
character artists.
20)The final best artist will be selected for the STATUS UPDATE (or

21) Finally the selected artist will provided with economical benefits,

·provides online registration in an appropriate category for a user so that,
upon registration at a "Be a Star" web site, the user may perform the
registered activity. Further, ·after performing stepwise activity as available
on the website and after- qualifying and winning the available stepwise
activities, the winner will become "A Star" and receives a defined award.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
The World Wide Web (\1\MJW) is a global communications network having
a user and server model for communications. That is users which uses
"web browsers" and navigate the V\J\1\MJ to access desired ser\ter nodes
(known as web sites) for at least obtaining information and registration at
the website.
Every industry including entertainment, rriedia, sport, politics, cooking, art,
sports etc. is constantly struggling to locate the next big ·talent. Often,

happenstance has more to do with an artist re.aching fame than does· any
organized industry effort. Although person who achieves fame in a
particular field uses to capitalize the coming up talent and are always
lo'oking for new coming up talent. The person who already had achieved a
fame and the person who wants to achieve a fame needs a common
platform for recognition of new coming up talent. Additionally, the new
coming up talent also wants to gain name as well as economical benefit
after getting fame or. after becoming A Star.

One way that the industry has traditionally attempted to locate new talent
is through talent shows as present on the television. The talent shows are
used to be judged by the experts, the experts selects the talented person
and then the selected talented person use to perform in presence of
experts, thereafter the program is telecasted on the television. The
audience can see the talent program on the scheduled time on the
television and can vote for his/her favourite contestant. Further, on the
basis of numbers provided by the experts and the number of votes, the
winner is selected after a number of series of contest. The talent shows
are shouted at a pre scheduled time at a pre-scheduled place with a fix
amount of public. After shouting the talent show, the talent show ·is
broadcasted at the television at a fix time. The audience who wants to
watch the talent show will have to wait for the broadcast of the show.
Further, the audience votes by text message for contestants so that the
contestants are gradually weeded out over a series of shows. Although the
public has input into the selection of the winning artist but has no input in
the selection of the talented contestants. In addition, the live performances
at scheduled broadcast times effectively restrict audience input to that
portion of the public who are free to watch the program.
Typically, the talent shows are present in the field of entertainment and are
restricted to the televi~ion. A number of business units have developed
Web sites located on the internet to provide advertising and marketing
services to business units and are willing to provides products and
services to the customers. However, it is difficult to attract audience on the
website and participate them in the selection procedure of the talented
person in a particular field. This process of attraction of audience at a
website and selection of a talented person is difficult.
Usually, the information related to Actor, Singer, Dancer, Cooking, Social
Activity, Presenter/Journalist, Radio Jockey, etc. are available on the

peculiar website is also important in the field of global communication
network. Some information may be useful in determining the

information is .used by the website during the registration of the users and
degree of interest will be measured by the provided information.
Additionally these websites are user based and are used to a particular
type of user. On none of the websites all types of artists can registered
and take economical benefit from the available websites.
Online retail sites and social networking sites have gained popularity. Yet
despite the popularity of these sites, their existences have largely
remained distinct as a result, and the number of these sites se_ems to have
increased. It remains difficult for _various websites to provide economical
benefit to the registered users who are not celebrity or a star. For example,
this applies to a celebrity, star, retailers and others seeking to capture· an
online audience. For example, for celebrities, conventional
methods of interacting with fans are available. Such websites use to
provide the economical benefit to the celebrities and not the normal users
of website. Some official sites of celebrities and stars are also available
which use to aspire the celebrities and stars. For a normal artist, it remains
difficult to be seen and heard by the public. In part due to the large
number of sites on the internet, it remains difficult for talented artistls to
build a fan-base through online activity. Another problem is the cost
associated with creating and/or maintaining an individual website. Further,
another problem associated with these sites that the talented artist cannot
become A Star through available online sites. One of the main
disadvantages of the available sites is that the talented artists do not get
work and economical benefit from these sites.

Therefore, it would be advantageous to alleviate many of the above
difficulties by providing registration to the talented artists and providing the
economical benefit to the selected artists. Further, it would be
advantageous to participate the audience through the website in selection
of the talented artist.
SUMMARY OF INVENTION
The present invention is a process for becoming A Star using
www.beastar.com website. The process includes registration of an artist in
the selected field at the website, shoot the Audition through a means, Fill
the details as required in Form at the website, Upload the audition/success
story, receive Audition Code number at provided e-mail-id & mobile
number, any user/audience at website can like and comment on the
performance, the audition will be analysed by a panel of experts/judges,
seleCted artists will be displayed for the voting, any user/audience of
website can vote for the uploaded audition. Thereafter, experts/judges
opinion and online voting numbers will be counted, based on the.
experts/judges opinion and online users/audience voting few talented
artists will be selected. The selected artists will then perform Face to Face
audition, thereafter experts/judges will select few artists from the 'Face To
Face' performance round. Later, 100 participants/talented artists for main
lead will be selected through respected experts/judges. Lastly, selection
for the STATUS UPDATE Film (Other Films) is completed, and the final
selected talented artist will receive described professional fees, Gifts and
Certificate of Appreciation.

Referring to Figure 1, the assistance described above is organize in an
interactive network computer environment or a Website 15. The website
herein is www.beastar.com is a server application that accepts connection
between participants/artists, experts and users of website. The user
programs, such as web browsers, allows the participants/artists, experts
and users of website to access the information database stored on the
Website.
In the present invention, artists/participants 16 can participate in the
selected field at the website and can register themselves and upload the
video on the website 15. The information database 14 stores and
provides all the data. An interface 12 allows remote . connection of the
participants/artists 16 and the database 14. The interface 12 allows remote

Referring to Figure 2, the "Be A Star" system that operates in accordance
with the present invention. The system includes 'a participant computer 1,
expert computer 2, audience computer 3 and webserver computer 4. The

participant computer 1, expert computer 2, and audience computer 3 may
be any type of computing devices that allow a user to interactively browse
websites via a web-browser 5. For example, the participant computer 1,
expert computer 2, and audience computer 3 may be a personal computer
t~at runs the Windows operating system.
The participant computer 1, expert computer 2, audience computer 3 and
web server computer 4 are connected through interface 12. The web
server computer 4 also includes the database 14 which store and provides
the data, information and performance related to participants/artists. The
database 14 also analyze the data related to experts opinion and audience
votes and provide the final result of the winner.
Referring to Figure 3, either l.JSers, or a system provider, create a contest
for an identified category (31 0). The participants register themselves
through "BE A STAR" website for an identified category (311). The system
accepts the uploaded video within the submission deadline (312). The
system then presents the uploaded videos to the audience for review and
rating (313). Further, the system provides the uploaded videos to the
experts for their opinion (314). The talented then artist selected on the
basis of experts opinion and audience voting (315). Further, face to face
audition performance of selected artists was performed (316). Finally, on
the basis of ·experts opinion and audience vote a winner i.e. "A Star'' is
selected (317). The Star winner receives described professional fees, gifts
and certificate of appreciation from the system (318).
Referring to Figure 4, the user/participants opens "Be A Star'' website
(410). The participants read the audition dialogues of status update of
interested field (411 ). The participants shoot the performance and submit
the audition (412). The audition will be conducted within described period
of time as disclosed on the website (413). The system then generates the

received on participant's email-id & mobile (414). The audition will be
uploaded on various websites such as you tube, hotstar,
www.beastar.com website, other social media websites (digital media), TV

every user and every user can watch the performance of the participants
on the website. The audience can like, comment and vote on the
performance of participants using the system (416). Thereafter, audition
will be analysed by the experts ( 417) and the experts give their opinion on
the performance of the participants. The expert~ opinion and audience
voting count will decide the final 1000 participants (418). Thereafter, FACE
10 FACE audition of participants is performed (419). Further, final best
participants will be selected for the status update film (420). The winning
artisUparticipant will receive described economical benefits, gifts and
certificate of appreciation (421).
