A Process For The Preparation Of A Storage Stable Insecticidal Composition Of 2 Chloro 2 Diethylcarbamoyl 1 Methylvinyl Dimethylphosphate
Abstract: A process for the prepration of a storage stable insecticidal composition of 2-chloro-2-diethylcarbamoyl-1-methylvinyl dimethyl phosphate comprising of the following steps: a) charging Isopropyl Alcohol 10 to 50% (w/w) with Cyclohexanone 20 to 90% (w/w) in a reactor; b) adding 0.0 to 5.0% stabilizer cum solubilizer in the mixture of step (a) with constant strring; c) charging 30 to 50% of 2-chloro-2-diethylcarbamoyl-1-methylvinyl diemthylphosphate Technical, of atleast 90.0% purity, gradually with constant strring to obtain a homogenous mixture; d) agitating the mixture of step (c) for 30 to 45 minutes while adding Methyl violet dye 0.01 to 1.0% and bittering agent 0.001 to 0.01% to obtain a liquid homogenous mixture; e) filtering the homogenous mixture of the step (d) through a filter to obtain a storage stable insecticidal composition of 2-chloro-2-diethylcarbamoyl-1-methylvinyl dimethyl phosphate.
