This Invention relates to a process for the preparation of an etched artistic foil or visual and to such a foil or visual produced therefrom.
It is generally known that elec:' rof orming is an electro chemical process which allows parts on a
carrier plate to form by electro-deposition of metal. Such a process consists in first producing a film on the
part. A carrier plate is produced with a photo sensitive resist, and whereby a positive picture of %he
part is transferred to the resist by photo exposure. After it develops, the carrier plate shows surfaces
coated with the resist as well as metallic surfaces free of resist. On the metallic: surfaces free of resist,
deposition takes place on the metal and thus forms the product by qalvanic deposition. This process is a
lengthy process and the clear and good quality picture is not ob.tained.
There the main object of this invention is to propose a novel process for the preparation of etched artistic, foil or visual.
Another object of this invention is to propose an etched artistic foil or visual. prepared by the process of the present invention.
