Abstract: ABSTRACT A PROCESS OF PREPARING SPHERICAL METAL PHOSPHATES, AND IMPLEMENTATIONS THEREOF The present disclosure provides a process of preparing spherical metal phosphate, comprising a) preparing a slurry comprising a structure directing agent, metal 5 precursors , and a phosphate precursor; and b) hydrothermal treatment of the slurry at a temperature in a range of 170 ? to 220 ?, for a time period in a range of 7 to 18 hours to obtain the spherical metal phosphate. The present disclosure also provides a lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) composite comprising the spherical metal phosphate; and a cathode material prepared using the LMFP.
