1. Applicants:
These are people, who are seeking job opportunities. They have specific skills and may or may not have experience in a specific area of work. They are distributed and have a base location and specify one or more preferred locations from where they are willing to work.
2. Employers:
These are retail employers predominantly in the domestic help area, who have a need to complete a short project in their location. These projects may last from few hours to few days. Since this is a small task, this typically cannot be subcontracted to more organized vendors specialists who perform this work.
3. Companies:
These are organized business establishments/legal entities who specialize in an industry and have the expertise and know-how of executing large projects. These projects normally range from a few weeks to several months. They deploy a mix of permanent and contract/temporary staff to execute projects.
The login process is broadly similar for all three user types, with few key variations. User (applicant/employer/company) specifies name, e-mail address and mobile phone number to register in this employment platform. Email is optional for applicants. Employers and companies have the option of using email authentication, service provider authentication (like Gmail, linked-in etc.) or phone authentication to log-in to the system. This process creates a unique authenticated user-id in the system, which shall be used by the system to identify the user. After first level of authentication, a user record is created in the database with the user-id created in previous step as the key. The process thereafter varies for different user types.

The applicants are directly taken to a screen where they can provide their personal details, location details, experience details, and skill details etc.(which shall be used to compare their skill with roles published by employer/companies for creating a skill match scorecard).

The employers after successful login are directly taken to the shopping mall, where they can specify their requirements and search for people having the required skills.

The companies shall be asked to provide GST number. This GST number shall be validated with the GST records maintained by government bodies and required company information shall be retrieved directly from databases maintained by them. A snapshot of this information is created in in the database of the employment platform. No other manual details shall be taken by the company representative. It is the responsibility of the company to share these details and order on their behalf using this employment platform.

In an exemplary embodiment, the employment platform may review the mobile number registered in GST and also send a message and or e-mail to registered number stating that GST number is being used by another mobile number and mention the number being used in the employment platform. This process expedites registration process while authenticating the company information as well from authentic system of record.

APPLICANT REGISTRATION SUB MODULE (APPLICANT SUB MODULE)
Applicant shall provide the details in following sections.
• Personal details - Name (already mentioned during login registration), mobile number (is the key, and taken during the login registration), e-mail (optional), date of birth and Aadhar number etc.
• Location details - Current address (along with state, city, pin code), preferred address(es), where they are willing to re-locate to perform work.
• Experience details – Where total years of experience and corresponding details are captured.

Once above details are taken validation checks shall get triggered to validate the data. Some of these checks would include:
• Performing text analytics on the name against data published by government bodies for any questionable/spurious/criminal activities, listed against the combination of name/aadhar/address/mobile etc. The said step shall help in determining the background check score for the applicant.
• Validate aadhar (Identification card or number) number specified by the applicant. Multiple options are available to perform the validation, i.e.
Physical verification of aadhar card is done by the agent network, wherein the agent network is established at the block level of each district. The agent will take a copy of aadhar and feed into the system. System shall perform OCR (optical character recognition) process to get the name, address etc. directly from the aadhar card.
Picture would be taken by the agent to be fed into the criminal validation module of the system to check criminal records (described below), and is also be stored in the system for future verifications/validations etc.
Applicant can directly submit a picture of aadhar card using the mobile phone camera for aadhar verification. Process mentioned in previous step shall get automatically triggered for aadhar validation. If the picture is not clear, then applicant shall be asked to go to the nearest agent to get the validation/KYC done.
Aadhar shall also be validated by an API call that connects to the government system of record and fetches required details and populates the database with the said data.
Criminal record validation – Use the picture extracted either from the aadhar card or taken by the agent to perform criminal validation. Artificial intelligence/Deep learning techniques like CNN (convoluted neural networks) shall be leveraged to perform analytics on this image and compare them with a copy that has been published by the government bodies as criminal records. If a match is found, the application process is then put on hold and shall mandate a clearance document from law enforcing bodies before the applicant can be authorized to use the system.
Experience validation – Perform basic validation using date of birth of the applicant to ensure that it is appropriate and falls in line with eh minimum age of 18 and above as required by law to do work. Applicant shall be asked to revise experience if the check fails.
DOB validation – verify DOB against the dob mentioned in the aadhar.
Previous registration validation – Validate if the applicant was in the system and was taken out due to performance issue. Applicant shall be asked to furnish details of actions taken by him/her to fix these issues.

Once required data is taken by the applicant and validated by the system, a unique QR code shall get created in the system to represent the applicant. He/she can directly send the QR code for possible open positions advertised by employers, instead of sending a separate resume as an attachment. This eliminates unwanted additional load on the network.

Applicant may have to pay a registration fee if applicable for certain skills as determined by a management team, which is reviewed on a periodic basis. Applicant shall have the ability to view open positions/jobs as advertised by employers. Applicant can also fine tune the search criteria based on the applicant’s needs while reviewing the skill match score. He/she can also use the said score to upskill himself/herself.

Applicant also has the option of reviewing and taking skill development trainings that are linked to the employment platform. These trainings can be online or in affiliation with a network of training centers to deliver the certified trainings.

EMPLOYER/COMPANY SEARCH MODULE (COMPANY SUB MODULE)
Employer after completing registration process shall be taken to the applicant search module. Employer shall provide search criteria, like location, experience in years, industry etc. to fine tune the search. The employment platform then retrieves all records that match the conditions mentioned by the employer by using the geolocation features. The said information shall be displayed in a shopping cart set up where an employer can choose as many matching applicants(products) as he needs. He has the option to choose the quantity for these products and move to the order review and checkout step or go to another screen to further review the skill, experience etc. of each applicant, and select them individually. Either way once the product selection is over, employer shall be shown the order review screen to validate the said order. Once employer is satisfied with the selections, he/she is be directed to the payment gateway to make payments if applicable for the products selected.

Once the payment is complete employer receives an email with the details of the applicants he has chosen, so that the employer can directly talk to the job applicant and share job details and engage him. A message is also sent to the applicant with the contact details and location map of the employer so that he can connect with the employer as well. Employer can track current location of the applicant once a deal is reached if he is travelling from another location to perform the work. Employer and applicant have the choice of using a time hour tracking process provided by the system and payment gateway to record hours and make payments.

Company search process is similar however is detailed at the industry level as the skill set varies from industry to industry. There is be a section for skills that are common across industries and shall be like the employee search process
Following scenarios shall be handled by the employment platform after this step:
• Applicant reaches the employer location on agreed upon date and time – the applicant indicates the employer location in the employment platform. The employment platform sends a text message and or e-mail to the employer. Employer shall enter the code in the employment module on his mobile. The employment platform indicates that the transaction has started and close the process in the system. Employers and applicants shall be asked to provide feedback on the work that was undertaken and executed.

• Applicant does not respond to employers’ call. Employer shall raise an issue in the employment platform against the order. The system validates the issue and resolution and give credit, if required, valid for a certain period to search and order another product(applicant). It shall also trigger necessary disciplinary steps if mandated against the applicant.

• Employer backing off after the applicant reaches to execute the work is be noted, and no refund shall be provided to the employer.
