Description:FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to packing solutions designed for sustainable paper bag. Particularly, the present invention relates to a two layer structure recyclable bag with temper evident seal, thereby providing high strength and tampering detection in packaging so as to insure integrity of goods during transportation and storage.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] In the dynamic landscape of e-commerce, the significance of packaging cannot be overstated. As consumers increasingly turned to online shopping for convenience, efficiency, and a wider selection of products, the role of packaging extends beyond mere protection during transit. Packaging plays a crucial role across various industries, serving not only as a means of product protection but also as a vital component of brand identity, consumer experience, and environmental sustainability. However, the evolution of packaging in the digital age, particularly in e-commerce, has brought to light several pressing challenges that demand innovative solutions.
[003] One significant issue is the widespread non-recyclability of packaging materials. Tradition packaging material such as plastic bag, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam contribute significantly to environmental pollution and waste accumulation. With the exponential growth of online shopping, the volume of packaging material used has surged, exacerbating these environmental concerns. Additionally, the reliance on imported packaging materials further increases the carbon footprint of packaging operations, underscoring the urgency for sustainable alternatives.
[004] Another critical challenge is the lack of effective tamper-evident packaging solutions. Across industries, ensuring product integrity during transit is essential to prevent theft, tampering, or damage. However, existing packaging solution often lack robust tamper detection mechanisms, leaving product vulnerable to manipulation or theft. This compromises consumer trust and poses significant risk of damage to brand reputation and product safety.
[005] Furthermore, the absence of cost effective packaging designs with both low cost and high strength poses a significant challenge. Many existing solutions compromise either affordability or durability, limiting options for businesses seeking optimal packaging solutions. This dilemma leads to increased production costs and environmental impact, as companies often resort to over-engineered or excessive packaging to ensure product protection.
[006] There are several patent applications that disclose a bag for containing goods. One such United States patent application US4096987A discloses a reinforced paper bag of the type found in grocery stores, which is reinforced by a plurality of narrow pleats extending lengthwise of the bag, the bag having corner defining pleats and additional pleats intermediate the corners of the bag, the pleats being folded down and secured to the bag material, preferably with the intermediate pleats adhered in a manner which permits them to expand under load, the pleats adding strength to the bag and permitting the use of lighter weight paper stock, thereby achieving savings in paper requirements as well as increased bag strength. However, these bags neither have adequate security features and nor it is designed for heavy weights and high stress supply chain.
[007] In order to overcome the problem associated with state of arts, there is a need for the development of a recyclable paper bag with tamper evident seal that can overcome the aforesaid limitations in a more efficient manner.
