3. PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed : -

Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to amusement device. More particularly it relates to amusement riding device for children which is designed specially keeping in mind growing kids mental and physical development need.
Prior Art:
Varity of amusement riding devices are available in market. Some of them are discussed herein below.
CN 2827479 discloses an artificial animal amusement device which comprises a glass reinforced plastic housing in the shape of a cattle or a horse, a drive motor, a speed reducer and a cam transmission mechanism or a plane link mechanism. The utility model is characterized in that the utility model also comprises a rotating base and a space link mechanism. The drive motor, the speed reducer and the cam (chassis) are stationary. A connecting board is fixedly connected with the glass reinforced plastic housing in the shape of a cattle or a horse. The rotating base is fixedly connected with an output shaft of the speed reducer, and the space link mechanism is provided with one freedom degree and five levers. A slide block and the rotating base form a plane moving pair which is a prime driving member of the space link mechanism. The connecting board is a driven member. The reciprocating movement of the slide block can form the pitching motion, the transverse swing, the front and back movement, etc. of the animal body. The movements can become changeable and wild through adjusting the speed and the direction of the motor. The utility model is suitable for being used in amusement parks.
CN 1586692 discloses the artificial animal amusement apparatus which includes GRP casing in ox, horse and other animal shape, drive motor, reducing machine, and cam driving mechanism or planar link rod mechanism. It features that the apparatus includes also one rotating pedestal, one spatial link rod mechanism and two

graduating mechanisms. The apparatus has immobile driving motor, reducing mechanism and pedestal; three-freedom seven-rod spatial link rod mechanism; slide block and sliding hinge seat as primary drive parts; planar shift pair comprising slide block and rotating pedestal; reciprocating shift of the slide blocks to form the elevation motion, transverse swing, front and back shift and other motion of the animal body; and the regulation of various motion form via the graduating mechanism. The present invention may be used in large amusement park.
GB 916403 discloses an amusement ride comprising a riding surface providing a guide member extending longitudinally thereof, and support for a rider including a pedestal carrying the support and having a base movable over the surface in opposite longitudinal directions and rotatable with respect thereto, a roller, carried by the base in engagement with the member providing a pivot about which the base is adapted to rotate, traction means namely and wheel, carried by the base and engaging the surface for moving the base in opposite longitudinal directions with respect thereto and co-operating with the pivot for rotating the base axially about the pivot when the base is at either end of its longitudinal movement with respect to the member, rollers, carried by the base and engageable with the member for limiting the rotation of the base about the pivot and for guiding the base in its movement in the opposite longitudinal directions, and means for actuating the traction means. The base mounts the pedestal supporting the chassis of the body of a horse and the roller moving in the guide member in the foundation. The shaft of the roller is attached to an endless belt moving in a slot in the guide member and is connected to a commutator and electric motor. The traction wheel driven by the motor, projects through a hole in the base and runs on the foundation. The motor drives a chain for rocking the horse. The base runs on four rollers on the foundation. Two guide rollers engage one side of the guide member, a further roller is resiliently held by a piston rod in a cylinder and a counteracting helical spring, both secured to the roller and base, which act as a shock absorber during pivotal movement of the base at the ends of its run.

These amusement riding devices are suffering from one of the following
disadvantages;
i. They are power driven.
ii. They have complex structure and operating mechanism.
iii. They are expensive.
iv. They require operator for their use.
v. They require regular maintenance.
vi. They cannot be used in open place like garden, play ground etc.
Hence it is necessary to develop new amusement riding device which will be free from aforesaid deficiencies.
Object of the Invention:
The main object of the present invention is to provide an amusement riding device which can obviate the disadvantages associated with prior art amusement riding devices.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement riding device which is safe for kids to play with.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement riding device which enable kids to develop good coordination and balancing ability.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement riding device which is designed for ease and economy of manufacture.
Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement riding device which is reliable.

Another object of the invention is to provide an amusement riding device which is durable and can be used in any climate.
Summary of the Invention:
Accordingly to achieve the aforesaid objects the present invention provides a riding device for amusement comprising:
a foundation being fixed at the place of installation of the riding device;
a riding structure of predefined shape having a seat portion for providing the sitting for rider on the riding device and a base portion;
at least one flexible spring being fixed between the foundation and the base portion of the riding structure; and
fastening means for fixing the flexible spring between the foundation and the base portion of the riding structure.

Detailed Description of the Drawings:
The features/ nature, and advantages of the disclosed subject matter will become more apparent from the detailed description set forth below when taken in conjunction with the drawings in which like reference numerals identify

Referring to figure 1, amusement riding device (1) comprises foundation (2), riding unit (3), spring (7) and fasteners (8).
The foundation (2) is fixed at the place of installation of the riding device. The place of installation can be play ground, garden, school ground etc. The foundation (2) can be made of cement, iron, steel or hard plastic material. The foundation (2) is fixed on

the place of installation by available fixing means depending upon the material to be used for foundation.
The riding unit (3) as shown in figure 1 is of airplane shape. Figures 2 to 7 shows the riding unit with different shapes. The invention is not limited to the shapes shown in drawing, but it can be of any shape. The riding unit (3) includes a base (5) and seat (4). The seat (4) facilitates the sitting for rider on the riding device. The seat (4) is fixed on the base (5). At least one handle (6) is provided in riding unit (3) so that rider can hold the riding unit at the time of riding. The riding unit (3) is made of hard plastic material. More preferably it is made of High Density Poly Eurethene Sheet.
The flexible spring (7) is fixed between the foundation (2) and the base (5) of the riding unit (3). Mainly steel is used as a material for spring (7). Suitable fasteners (8) are used for attaching the spring between the foundation (2) and the base (5) of the riding unit (3). Fastening is not limited to ring like fastener (8) shown in figures 1 to 7, but it can be done by way of welding or like mechanism. The riding device (1) of the present invention is not limited to only single flexible spring (7), but it can includes multiple of springs as per the requirements.
The riding device (1) of the present invention is such that when a rider sat on the seat (4) of the riding unit (3) and apply the downward force on seat (4), the flexible spring (7) get the up/down movement. The excitement level is depending upon the force applied on the seat (4).
Further modifications and alternative embodiments of various aspects of the invention will be apparent to those skilled in the art in view of this description. Accordingly, this description is to be construed as illustrative only and is for the purpose of teaching those skilled in the art the general manner of carrying out the invention. It is to be understood that the forms of the invention shown and described herein are to be taken as the presently preferred embodiments. Elements and

materials may be substituted for those illustrated and described herein, parts and processes may be reversed, and certain features of the invention may be utilized independently, all as would be apparent to one skilled in the art after having the benefit of this description of the invention. Changes may be made in the elements described herein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as described in the following claims.

WE CLAIM;
1. A riding device for amusement comprising:
a foundation being fixed at the place of installation of the riding device;
a riding structure of predefined shape having a seat portion for providing the sitting for rider on the riding device and a base portion;
at least one flexible spring being fixed between the foundation and the base portion of the riding structure; and
fastening means for fixing the flexible spring between the foundation and the base portion of the riding structure.
2. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure comprises handle means to enable the rider to hold the riding structure during riding.
3. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure is made of plastic material.
4. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 3 wherein the riding structure is made of High Density Poly Eurethene Sheet.
5. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein fastening means includes welding.
6. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure having shape of airplane.

7. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure having shape of bike.
8. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure having shape of bird.
9. The riding device for amusement as claimed in claim 1 wherein the riding structure having shape of fish.
