FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[002] The present subject matter described herein generally relates to a ripper integrated drawbar assembly, and more specifically to a ripper integrated drawbar assembly for a bull dozer.
BACKGROUNDOF THE INVENTION
[003] Land clearing is a process of uprooting the trees for making it usable for agriculture, research program, construction of roads and dams etc. The use of cleared land will subsequently have its own restriction according to the method of land clearing.
[004] Crawler bull dozers with a ripper are the best in class having high horse power to work with high efficiency. Blade attachment on front is used to push the bushes and piling up, whereas the rear ripper is used for digging the root of big tress so that it can be easily removed by blade pushing. The above two methods are used for bigger trees having trunk diameter more than 40 cm. To increase the productivity, trees with trunk diameter less than 40 cm can be cleared by land clearing chain which is mounted on the bull dozer. The deforestation using the massive land clearing chain is called chain method.
[005] Generally, ripper mounted crawler bull dozer doesn't have a separate drawbar for pulling the heavy loads. In such cases pulling of any loads can be done by connecting the land clearing chain with ripper shank/beam which may damage the ripper structure. In some cases, the ripper structure is removed and drawbar will be mounted. Removal of ripper structure leads to higher idle time in the field leading to high productivity loss.
[006] Hence there is need of a draw bar assembly with ripper for land clearing using clearing chains.
