A Roof Cross Member Of A Vehicle For Improving In Cabin Noise

Abstract: Disclosed herein provides a roof cross member (200) of a vehicle for improving in-cabin noise, the roof cross member (200) comprising a flat rectangular panel (202), wherein extended portions (202-E1,202-E2) are formed in middle of both the longitudinal sides (202-L1,202-L2) of the flat rectangular panel (202); and a plurality of U-shaped cutouts (202-U1,202-U2, 202-U3, 202-U4), wherein at least two U-shaped cutouts (202-U1,202-U2,202-U3, 202-U4) are formed on inner side of each of the extended portions (202-E1, 202-E2) of the longitudinal sides (202-L1,202-L2). The roof cross member (200) further comprises two beads (202-B1,202-B2), wherein each of the beads (202-B1,202-B2) is formed in between the two U-shaped cutouts (202-U1,202-U2,202-U3,202-U4) made on each of the extended portions (202-E1,202-E2).
