The plurality of cutters and the plurality of spacers are coupled to a shaft. The shredder chamber further includes a plurality of scrapers coupled on at least one peripheral wall of the shredder chamber and configured to prevent the clogging of waste between the at least one peripheral wall and the plurality of shredding cutters, where the at least one peripheral wall is operated using a hinged mechanism configured to provide an access to the shredder chamber.
[0017] FIG. 1 illustrates a schematic representation of a shredding machine (10)
in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The shredding machine (10) includes a shredder chamber (20). The shredder chamber (20) includes a fixed part (30) and a rotating part (40). The fixed part (30) includes a base plate (50) securely bolted. In one embodiment, the rotating part (40) may be secured to the base plate (50) using a fixing arrangement (60). In such embodiment, the fixing arrangement (60) may include a housing (70) and a bar (80). The housing (70) is tightly bolted on the base plate (50) and the bar (80) is inserted into the housing (70). In a specific embodiment, the bar (80) may include a rectangular bar.
[0018] The shredding chamber (20) further includes at least one peripheral wall
(90). The at least one peripheral wall (90) of the rotating part (40) is fitted on the bar (80), wherein a plate (not shown in FIG. 1) of the bar (80) is not bolted on the base plate (50). The shredding chamber (20) further includes a plurality of cutters (100) and a plurality of spacers (110). In one embodiment, the plurality of cutters (100) may include a circular ring with teeth. The plurality of cutters (100) is configured to shred a waste. In a specific embodiment, the plurality of spacers (110) may include a ring shape. In such embodiment, each of the plurality of spacers (110) may be configured to separate the plurality of cutters (100).
[0019] The plurality of cutters (100) and the plurality of spacers (110) are coupled
to a shaft (120). In some embodiments, the shaft (120) is coupled to a motor (130) and configured to operate the shredding chamber (20) for shredding of the waste. In a specific embodiment, the shaft (120) may include a cylindrical rod. The shaft (120)

is configured to hold the plurality of cutters (100) and the plurality of spacers (110) in place.
[0020] The shredder chamber (20) further includes a plurality of scrapers (140)
coupled on the at least one peripheral wall (90) of the shredder chamber (20). The plurality of scrapers (140) is configured to prevent the clogging of waste between the at least one peripheral wall (90) and the plurality of cutters (100). In one embodiment, the plurality of scrapers (140) may be coupled to the at least one peripheral wall (90) using a plurality of screws (150). The plurality of screws (150) coupled with the plurality of scrapers (140) are configured to allow a lateral movement of the plurality of scrapers (140).
[0021] Furthermore, the at least one peripheral wall (90) is operated using a
hinged mechanism (160) as shown in FIG. 2. The hinged mechanism (160) configured to provide an access to the shredder chamber (20). In some embodiments, the hinged mechanism (160) may include a hinge (170) and a bolt (180). The bolt (180) is inserted in a slot (190) of the hinge (170) to open the at least one peripheral wall (90). The hinge (170) is fitted on a top of the rotating part (40) while the bolt (180) is inserted through an appropriate circular slot (190) on the hinge (170) and the fixed part (30) and thus holding the fixed part (30) and the rotating part (40) together.
[0022] The hinge mechanism (160) ensures that the rotating part (40) does not
overturn while the plurality of cutters (100) is rotating. In a specific embodiment, when a breakdown, clogging or a maintenance occurs, the bolt (180) is unbolted at both the ends of the shredding chamber (20) and the rotating part (40) may be pulled back in a semi-circular arc. The rotating part (40) rotates due to the fixing arrangement (60). In one embodiment, the degree of motion for the rotating part (40) is restricted when at least one of the longer edge of the housing (70) touches the base plate (50).
[0023] In operation, the plurality of scrappers (140) is fitted to the at least one
peripheral wall (90) on both the sides such as at the fixed part (30) and the rotating part (40) of the shredder chamber (20) as shown in FIG. 3. In some embodiment, the plurality of scrappers (140) may include a curved side (not shown in FIG. 3) which is below the shaft (120), encircling the plurality of spacers (110). The plurality of

scrapers (140) very closely encircles the plurality of spacers (110) from below so that the waste that tries to come back on top due to circular motion of the plurality of cutters (100), gets scraped off at the bottom.
[0024] In one embodiment, the plurality of scrappers (140) may include a
predefined thickness so as to reduce the gap between a side wall of the plurality of scrapers and a side wall of the plurality of cutters (100). In a specific embodiment, the predefined thickness may include a small thickness. Such gap ensures that the waste which tries to get accumulated does not have tight space and falls down which gets into the space between the side wall of the plurality of scrapers (140) and the side wall of the plurality of cutters (100) due to the rotational speed of the cutters (100).
[0025] Various embodiments of the shredding machine described above enable a
fast shredding action of the shredding machine as the plurality of scrapers scrapes the surface of the spacer and allow to move laterally rather than being fixed to the backplate.
[0026] Further, the shredding machine leverages on vibration and gravity to make
the waste fall rather than getting stuck. The narrow design of the scraper ensures that there is not much gap for the waste to get stuck.
[0027] It will be understood by those skilled in the art that the foregoing general
description and the following detailed description are exemplary and explanatory of the disclosure and are not intended to be restrictive thereof.
[0028] While specific language has been used to describe the disclosure, any
limitations arising on account of the same are not intended. As would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, various working modifications may be made to the method in order to implement the inventive concept as taught herein.
[0029] The figures and the foregoing description give examples of embodiments.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that one or more of the described elements may well be combined into a single functional element. Alternatively, certain elements may be split into multiple functional elements. Elements from one embodiment may be added to another embodiment. For example, order of processes

described herein may be changed and are not limited to the manner described herein. Moreover, the actions of any flow diagram need not be implemented in the order shown; nor do all of the acts need to be necessarily performed. Also, those acts that are not dependent on other acts may be performed in parallel with the other acts. The scope of embodiments is by no means limited by these specific examples.
