FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Conventional rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor as shown in fig. 1 comprising of power transmission components like crown wheel- pinion (Spiral bevel gear pair), differential housing, differential assembly, Bull Gear- pinion (Final drive) & rear axle. These components transmit power from gearbox to rear wheel of agricultural tractor.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to propose a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor which optimizes quantity of lubricating oil and reduces the oil churning losses.
Another object of the present invention is to propose a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor

which causes less consumption of lubricating oil by filling hollow space below the differential assembly.
Further object of the present invention is to propose a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor which enhances the performance of rear axle drive train.
Still another object of the present invention is to propose a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor which substantially reduces the production cost.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor comprising of a channel for free movement of crown wheel wherein one side of the shroud is made rectangular and other side is curved in shape and atleast two metal inserts with tapping on each side wall are provided on shroud assembly for fastening.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWING:
The present invention discloses a shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor. Referring to fig. 2, wherein the shroud is mounted below differential assembly by fastening it on walls of differential housing. Said shroud is positioned just below crown wheel so as to accommodate hollow space of differential housing. The shroud is having channel for free-movement of crown wheel. One side of shroud is made rectangular & other is curved in shape. Curved shape of shroud leads to ease of assembly during production. Atleast two metal inserts with tapping on each sidewall are provided on shroud assembly for fastening.

Shroud is preferably made of reinforced polypropylene compound with high deflection temperature of 125°C & good impact strength. Shrouds are fastened from both sides with wall of differential housing.
Prior art is having more lubricating oil requirement as compared to proposed design results in more cost of production.
Proposed design optimizes oil requirement results in cost saving.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
1. A shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor comprising of a channel for free movement of crown wheel wherein one side of the shroud is made rectangular and other side is curved in shape and atleast two metal inserts with tapping on each side wall are provided on shroud assembly for fastening.
2. A shroud as claimed in claim 1, wherein said shroud is mounted below differential assembly and positioned below crown wheel.
3. A shroud as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein said shroud is preferably made of reinforced polypropylene compound with high deflection temperature of 125°C and good impact strength.
4. A shroud for optimization of lubricating oil of rear axle assembly of agricultural tractor substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
