Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
This invention relates to an improved rear floor area.
PRIOR ART
As such, patch at individual mountings is known to have been provided so as to strengthen the Panel, Rear floor. The detail schematic of the prior art is shown in Figures 1 & 2.
Under braking and impact load, high stress is developed near the mounting areas as shown in Figure 4a.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear floor area by providing single integrated reinforcement for CNG cylinder tank frame mounting to avoid high stresses near the mounting areas under braking and impact load.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear floor wherein fitment tolerance of the tank frame is controlled better as all the holes are in single reinforcement. Further object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear floor area in which assembling is easier over the prior art as after locating one body mounting (through single piece reinforcement), all other mountings can be carried out.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide an improved rear floor for CNG cylinder tank frame mounting, which reduces the stress on the panel, rear floor.
STATEMENT OF INVENTION
According to this invention, there is provided an improved rear floor area with single integrated reinforcement each on LH and RH side for CNG cylinder tank frame mounting, wherein all the CNG cylinder tank frame mountings on one side of the vehicle i.e. RH or LH are mounted through these single integrated reinforcements only

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION WITH REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS:
According to this invention, there is provided an improved rear floor area
provided with a support (as shown in fig.3) supporting a cylinder frame
mounted with CNG cylinder.
Accordingly, the single integrated reinforcements for CNG cylinder frame mounting (as shown in fig. 3) can also be provided in the already assembled vehicle to bear the additional load of CNG cylinder and frame in the rear under body.
All the mountings on one side of the vehicle i.e. RH or LH are mounted through this these single integrated reinforcements only. Reference may be made to fig. 4b which shows that, high stress is not observed near the mounting areas under braking and impact load
Due to the addition of the CNG Cylinder along with frame, heavy weight is borne by the Rear Under body. The Panel Rear Floor having a low thickness, cannot bear this high load and needs to be reinforced. The single integrated reinforcements, provided on both the right & left side of the vehicle, reduces the stresses on the Panel, Rear Floor drastically by distributing the load over a larger area in the Panel. Due to its integrated structure, it provides robustness to the Rear under body by preventing the bending of the reinforcement during the sudden cornering or the braking. The reinforcements can be assembled onto the vehicle easily after the vehicle has been assembled. Therefore, there is no additional constraint on the welding or the assembly of the vehicle.
It is to be noted that the present invention is susceptible to modifications, adaptations and changes by those skilled in the art. Such variant embodiments employing the concepts and features of this invention are intended to be within the scope of the present invention, which is further set forth under the following claims:-

WE CLAIM:
1. An improved rear floor area comprising of single integrated reinforcement for CNG tank frame mounting, in which all the CNG tank frame mountings on one side of the vehicle i.e. RH or LH are mounted through the single integrated reinforcements.
2. An improved rear floor area as claimed in claim 1 wherein assembly tolerance of the CNG cylinder tank frame is controlled better as all the holes are provided in single reinforcement.
3. An improved rear floor area as claimed in claim 1 or 2 wherein the reinforcements can be assembled onto the vehicle easily after assembly of the vehicle with no additional constraint on the welding or the assembly of the vehicle.
4. An improved rear floor area as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein the stresses on the Panel, Rear Floor are reduced drastically.
5. An improved rear floor area such as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawing.
