Abstract: The present disclosure provides a skin-lightening and sensorially acceptable composition comprising of oxyresveratrol, wherein oxyresveratrol is stabilized without chemical modifications. Also provided is a method for stabilizing oxyresveratrol without chemically modifying the same.
CLIAMS:1. A cosmetically acceptable composition for skin-lightening comprising of
a. oxyresveratrol;
b. isopropyl alcohol;
c. shea butter ethyl ester; and
d. at least one silicone,
wherein oxyresveratrol in said cosmetically acceptable composition is sensorially appealing, and wherein oxyresveratrol in said cosmetically acceptable composition is stabilized without chemical modification.
2. The cosmetically acceptable composition as claimed in claim 1, further comprising of suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
3. The cosmetically acceptable composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein oxyresveratrol weight concentration in said composition is 0.1-1%, wherein isopropyl alcohol weight concentration in said composition is 0.05-2%, wherein shea butter ethyl ester weight concentration in said composition is 0.01-90%, and wherein at least one silicone weight concentration in said composition is 2-97%.
4. The cosmetically acceptable composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one silicone is selected from the group consisting of cyclized silicone elastomers, dimethicone crosspolymers, and combinations thereof.
5. A method of stabilizing oxyresveratrol without chemical modification, said method comprising of
a. obtaining oxyresveratrol;
b. obtaining isopropyl alcohol;
c. obtaining shea butter ethyl ester;
d. obtaining at least one silicone; and
e. mixing said oxyresveratrol, isopropyl alcohol, shea butter ethyl ester, and at least one silicone to obtain a mix ,
wherein oxyresveratrol is stabilized without chemical modification in said mix.
6. The method as claimed in claim 5, wherein oxyresveratrol weight concentration in said mix is 0.1-1%, wherein isopropyl alcohol weight concentration in said mix is 0.05-2%, wherein shea butter ethyl ester weight concentration in said mix is 0.01-90%, and wherein at least one silicone weight concentration in said mix is 2-97%.
7. The method as claimed in claim 5, wherein said at least one silicone is selected from the group consisting of cyclized silicone elastomers, dimethicone crosspolymers, and combinations thereof.
8. A process of preparing a composition as claimed in claim 1.
9. A product comprising stabilized oxyresveratrol that is not chemically modified, said stabilized oxyresveratrol obtained by a method as claimed in claim 5.
10. The product as claimed in claim 9, further comprising of suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
