A Soft Switched Non Isolated Converter Circuit With Trapezoidal Current Modulation

Abstract: A SOFT-SWITCHED NON-ISOLATED CONVERTER CIRCUIT WITH TRAPEZOIDAL CURRENT MODULATION ABSTRACT Present disclosure discloses a converter circuit comprising a plurality of half-bridge circuits. Each of plurality of half-bridge circuits comprises a first power semiconductor switch and a second power semiconductor switch connected in series at an associated node. A drain terminal of each of the first power semiconductor switch of the plurality of half-bridge circuits is electronically coupled to a positive terminal of a common input source and a source terminal of each of the second power semiconductor switch of plurality of half-bridge circuits is electronically coupled to a negative terminal of the common input source. Each associated node of plurality of half-bridge circuits is connected to a load circuit such that the connection of the associated node of the each of plurality of half-bridge circuits along with consecutive connection of other associated node of plurality of half-bridge circuits to the load circuit form a star connection or a delta connection.
