A Static Equipment And Method For Uniformly Coating Urea Prills
Abstract: A static equipment (1) for uniformly coating urea prills.It comprises a vertically disposed chamber (2) provided with a urea prills inlet (3) at the top thereof and a coated urea prills outlet (4) at the bottom threrof.The chamber is further provided with a manhole (5) fitted with a cover (6).A urea prills distributor (7) is provided in the chamber directly below the urea prills inlet.A coating agent mist forming means (8) is provided directly below the urea prills distributor for creating a mist of the coating agent particles with air into an expanding or diverging cloud or stream thereof.A hopper (11) is provided in the chamber directly below the coating agent mist forming means and a coated urea prills distributing and uniform coating facilitating means (12) is provided in the chamber directly below the hopper (fig 1),Also,a method of uniformly coating urea prills comprising feeding the urea prills into an enclosed atmosphere from the top thereof and allowing the urea prills to fall down over a distributor provided within the enclosed atmosphere in a scattered or spread around manner.The urea prills are allowed to emerge through an expanding or diverging cloud or stream of a mist of the coating agent particles with air formed within the enclosed atmosphere.The coated urea prills are allowed to converge onto a coated urea prills distributing and uniform coating facilitating means provided in the enclosed atmosphere.The uniform coated urea prills are allowed to exit from the bottom of the enclosed atmosphere.
