The storage arrangement 100 includes at least one enclosure 20 or 30 of the storage arrangement 100. In this embodiment, two enclosures like a first enclosure 20 and a second enclosure 30 is provided for storing articles (not shown) therein. It may be obvious to persons skilled in the art to increase the number of enclosures for providing provision to keep articles and more utility space therein in the storage arrangement 100.

[0024] The storage space of the at least one enclosure 20 or 30 is provided adjacent to a shroud 40 and in front of a cluster display 50 towards an occupant of the vehicle interior. The shroud 40 covers the cluster display 50 of the vehicle interior.

[0025] The shroud 40 is movably arranged on the instrument panel 200. In this embodiment, the shroud 40 is in a shape of arcade. The shroud 40 covers the cluster display 50 of the vehicle interior. Furthermore, the shroud 40 is movable between a first position 100a and a second position 100b.

[0026] Specifically, in the first position 100a, the shroud 40 opens both the enclosures 20 and 30. When the shroud 40 is at the first position 100a, the enclosures 20 and 30 are accessible to a user for keeping articles therein. After keeping article inside the enclosure 20 and 30, the shroud 40 can be moved (slid) to second position 100b by sliding the shroud 40 towards the occupant of the vehicle interior for closing the enclosures 20 or 30 as shown in figure 2.
[0027] The shroud 40 can be moved (slid) in between first position to the second position 100b by applying an external force thereon. The external force can be applied manually or by a prime mover (not shown) controlled by an interface (not shown). When the shroud 40 is at the second position 100b, the shroud closes the openings 22 and 32 of the enclosures 20 and 30, thereby restricting access of the enclosures 20 and 30 to a user. Further, the shroud 40 is configured with a restricting member (not shown) for restricting further outward movements of shroud 40 beyond the second position 100b towards the occupant of the vehicle interior. The shroud 40 may include a handle (not shown) for holding and moving the shroud 40.

[0028] The dimensions of the shroud 40 are configured for opening and closing the enclosures 20 and 30 upon movements of the shroud 40 between the first position 100a and the second position 100b.
