Abstract: Abstract A stove with a holder The stove 10 comprises a base unit 12 and at least one burner 14 positioned on the base unit 12. The stove 10 comprises a holder 16 provided on the base unit 12. The holder 16 holds a cleaning tool 18 that is adapted to clean the at least one burner 14. With the above-disclosed holder 16 in the stove 10, the cleaning tool 18 is safely secured within the stove 10. Since, the cleaning tool 18 is made of heat-resistant material, the position of the holder 16 is not restricted to a confined place in the stove 10. With the easy access of the cleaning tool 18, the usage of inconvenient components like knife, forks are avoided during cleaning of the burners 14 of the stove 10. (Figure 1).

Claims:We Claim:

1. A stove (10) comprising :
- a base unit (12);
- at least one burner (14) positioned on said base unit (12);
characterized in that:
- a holder (16) provided on said base unit (12), said holder (16) holds a cleaning tool (18) adapted to clean said at least one burner (14).

2. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said cleaning tool (18) is made of a heat-resistant and anti-flammable material.

3. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein dimensions of said holder (16) is made corresponding to the dimensions of said cleaning tool (18).

4. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said holder (16) is made as an integral part of said stove (10).

5. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said holder (16) is externally attached to said stove (10).

6. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said holder (16) is made of magnetic material and is attached to said stove (10).

7. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said holder (16) is fitted inside said stove (10) to hold said cleaning tool (18) that is accessible via an opening (20).
8. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 8, wherein said cleaning tool (18) comprises a stopper (22) fitted at one end, said stopper (22) adapted to restrict a movement of said cleaning tool (18) in said opening (20).

9. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 8, wherein said stopper (22) acts as a handle to said cleaning tool (18) when inserted into said opening (20).

10. The stove (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein stopper (22) is made of a material chosen from a group of materials comprising rubber, plastic, natural cork.
, Description:The following specification describes and ascertains the nature of this invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:

Field of the invention
[0001] This disclosure relates to a stove. More particularly, it relates to the stove having a holder to hold a cleaning tool.

Background of the invention
[0002] Burner cleaning tool is a pin based tool provided along the every cooktop sold in the market. Users tend to lose or misplace the cleaning tool too often due to shear nature and size of the tool and is loosely kept inside the product package. With the cooking process, being greasy and messy, users will have to clean the burners quiet often depending on the intensity of the cooking. In the absence of the cooking tool, the users use sharp objects like knifes, needles to clean the burners, which not only damages the stove, but also injuries the users during the cleaning process.

[0003] A GB patent GB185422 discloses a holder for cleaning needles for vaporizing burners. The holder comprises two relatively movable members one, which is provided with means for securing the needle thereto and other for guiding the needle when inserted into the burner nozzle. The movable members are guided in their relative movement independently of the needle for the purpose set forth.

Brief description of the invention:

[0004] It is an object of the invention to provide a stove with a holder.

[0005] The objects are solved by the stove with a holder having the features according to claim 1.

[0006] The invention relates to a stove with a holder comprising a base unit and at least one burner positioned on the base unit. The stove comprises a holder provided on the base unit. The holder holds a cleaning tool that is adapted to clean the at least one burner.

[0007] A feature of this invention is that, the cleaning tool is made of a heat-resistant and anti-flammable material.

[0008] Another feature of this invention is that, the dimensions of the holder is made corresponding to the dimensions of the cleaning tool.

[0009] Another feature of this invention is that, the holder is made as an integral part in the stove.

[0010] Another feature of this invention is that, the holder is externally attached to said stove.

[0011] Another feature of this invention is that, the holder is made of magnetic material and is attached to the stove.

[0012] Another feature of this invention is that, the holder is fitted inside the stove to hold the cleaning tool that is accessible via an opening.

[0013] Another feature of this invention is that, the cleaning tool comprises a stopper fitted at one end of the cleaning tool. The stopper adapted to restrict a movement of the cleaning tool in the opening.

[0016] With the above-disclosed holder in the stove, the cleaning tool is safely secured within the stove. Since, the cleaning tool is made of heat-resistant material, the position of the holder is not restricted to a confined place in the stove. With the easy access of the cleaning tool, the usage of inconvenient components like knife, forks are avoided during cleaning of the burners of the stove. The holder acts as a retrofit solution to the existing design of the stove to accommodate the existing cleaning tool that is provided with the stove.

[0017] The above- disclosed holder provides a low-cost effective solution for accommodating the cleaning tool in the stove. The holder allows the user to suit his/her cleaning needs and ease the cleaning process without losing the cleaning tool. The pulling out and pushing in of the cleaning tool into the opening of the stove, is made easy for the user of the stove with the stopper acting as the handle. The above-disclosed holder design is applied to any kitchen appliance or home appliance such as mixer grinders, induction cook tops, juicers, coffee makers etc., wherein the appliance comprises a cleaning element like a brush to clean the appliance.

Detailed description of the embodiments
[0022] Figure 1 illustrates a stove with a holder in accordance to an embodiment of the invention. The stove comprises a base unit and at least one burner positioned on the base unit. The stove comprises a holder provided on the base unit. The holder holds a cleaning tool that is adapted to clean the at least one burner.

[0023] Further, the construction and the components of the stove 10 are explained as follows. The stove 10 is chosen from any one of the type of stoves comprising a single burner stove and a multi-burner stove. The cleaning tool 18 is made of a heat-resistant and anti-flammable material. The base unit 12 of the stove 10 is made of a heat resistant material as known in the state of the art. The cleaning tool 18 comprises a tail portion 18(a) and a head portion 18(b). The head portion 18(b) is used to hold the cleaning tool 18 while cleaning the at least one burner 14 . The tail portion 18(a) is made sharp and sleek such that, the tail portion 18(b) is inserted into holes of the at least one burner 14 for cleaning, the materials accumulated in the holes of the at least one burner 14.

[0024] The tail portion 18(a) of the cleaning tool 18 is made smaller than the head portion 18(b) of the cleaning tool 18. However, the shape of the cleaning tool 18 is not restricted as above disclosed, but can be of any shape that is known to a person skilled in the art, which is used to clean the burners 14 of the stove 10 effectively.

[0025] The cleaning tool 18 is made of a material chosen from a group of materials comprising plastic, steel, aluminum and the like. According to one embodiment of the invention, the head portion 18(b) of the cleaning tool 18 is made of plastic and the tail portion 18(a) is made of any metal comprising steel, aluminum and the like. As mentioned above, since the cleaning tool 18 is made of heat-resistant and anti-flammable material, the cleaning tool 18 is not heated up when placed in the holder 16 of the stove 10. According to one embodiment of the invention, the cleaning tool 18 is made of a magnetic material such that, the cleaning tool 18 is directly attached to the base unit 12 of the stove 10.

[0026] The shape (dimensions) of the holder 16 is made corresponding to the shape (dimensions) of the cleaning tool 18. According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is divided into two portions, a first portion 16(a) and a second portion 16(b). The first portion 16(a) in the shape of a slot to accommodate the tail portion 16(b) of the cleaning tool 18. The second portion 16(b) of the holder 16 is made corresponding to a head portion 18(b) of the cleaning tool 18. The holder 16 acts as a supporting structure to hold the cleaning tool 18 and is chosen from a group of holders comprising a bracket, a frame, a shoulder and the like.

[0027] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is made as an integral part of the stove 10. The holder 16 is formed/made during the manufacturing of the stove 10. The holder 16 is placed in at least one portion of the stove 10 like on a front surface or on arear surface or any of the side surfaces of the stove 10. According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is made on an outer surface of the stove 10. According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is made on an inner surface of the stove 10.

[0028]The holder 16 is made of a flexible material such that, the user can pull out the holder 16 from the inner surface of the stove 10, without lifting the stove 10 from a counter top, to access the cleaning tool 18 for cleaning the burners 14 of the stove 10. After the cleaning process, the user can place the cleaning tool in the holder and is pushed (manually) to its original position (to inner surface of the stove).

[0029] Figure 2 illustrates a stove with a holder, according to an embodiment of the present invention. According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is externally attached to the stove 10. In one instance, the holder 16 is fitted to the external surface of the stove 10 using at least one connecting element (not shown). In another instance, the holder 16 is fitted to the inner surface of the stove 10 using at least one connecting element. The connecting element is chosen from a group of connecting elements comprising a bush, a shaft, a clip, a bolt, a pin, a screw, a fastener and the like. According to an embodiment of the invention, the connecting element can be a combination of at least any two above-disclosed elements.

[0030] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is fitted to the stove 10 through an elastic element. The elastic element like spring helps the user to pullout the holder 16 from the stove 10, and to access the cleaning tool 18 for cleaning the burners 14 of the stove 10. With the arrangement of the elastic element, the human intervention of placing the holder 16 back to its original position is reduced. Due to the automatic retracting nature of the elastic element, the holder 16 comes back to its original position when pulled out for the cleaning tool 18. This kind of arrangement helps in avoiding the injuries to the user of the stove 10 and the holder 16 being damaged during cleaning process.

[0031] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holder 16 is made of a magnetic material and is attached to at least one portion of the stove 10. The holder 16 is attached to either front, rear or the side surfaces of the stove 10.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the stove 10 comprises an opening 20 made on the base unit 12 of the stove 10. The holder 16 is fitted inside the stove 10 to hold the cleaning tool 18 that is accessible via the opening 20. The cleaning tool 18 comprises a stopper 22 fitted at one end of the cleaning tool 18 and the stopper 22 adapted to restrict a movement of the cleaning tool 18 in the opening 20. The stopper 22 is fitted at the head portion 18 (b) of the cleaning tool 18.

[0033] The stopper 22 is made of a material chosen from a group of materials comprising rubber, plastic, natural cork and the like. The stopper 22 acts as a handle to the cleaning tool 18 when inserted into the opening 20. The user can pullout and push-in the cleaning tool 18 into the opening 20 onto the holder 16 using the stopper 22 as the handle.

[0034] Figure 4 illustrates the stove with the holder, according to an embodiment of the present invention. According to one embodiment of the invention, the cleaning tool 18 is partially inserted in the opening 20 of the stove 10, such that, the user can pullout the cleaning tool 18 using the head portion 18(b). The holder 16 is made corresponding to accommodate the tail portion 18(a) of the cleaning tool 18, as the head portion is protruded outside to the opening 20. The holder 16 (that is accommodating the tail portion 18(b) of the cleaning tool 18) is fitted inside the stove 10 i.e., at the inner side of the opening 20.
