Abstract: ABSTRACT A SUPPORT STRUCTURE FOR SUPPORTING A GEMSTONE AND A JEWELLERY THEREOF 5 The present disclosure relates to a support structure (100) for supporting a gemstone (110) in a jewellery (200). The support structure (100) includes a plurality of prongs (10A-G) such that at least 3 supporting prongs (10A, D and E) provide balance to the gemstone (110) and the remaining supporting prongs (10B, C, F and G) bent in pairs to support the gemstone (110) and 10 to increase aesthetic appeal of the Jewellery (200). The plurality of prongs (10A-G) defines a central cavity (C) to accommodate the gemstone (110), wherein when the gemstone (110) is accommodated in the central cavity (C), at least a portion of the gemstone (110) is visible from at least one lateral side. The support structure (100) of the present disclosure improves visibility of the gemstone (110) in comparison to the existing jewellery settings. 15 FIGS. 1A and 2
