Abstract: A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR MOUNTING A DAYTIME RUNNING LAMP IN A VEHICLE The disclosure herein generally relate to a mounting of day time running lamp in a vehicle and more particularly, to a system and a method for mounting the daytime running lamp in the vehicle such as off road vehicle. The system (100) includes a first mounting bracket (102), a second mounting bracket (104) and a third mounting bracket (106). The system (100) enables ease of access and assembly and disassembly of the daytime running lamp to user of the vehicle. The system (100) allows user of the vehicle to replace the daytime running lamp which is damaged or not working. Fig. 1

[001] The embodiments herein generally relate to a mounting of day time running lamp in a vehicle and more particularly, to a system and a method for mounting the daytime running lamp in the vehicle such as off road vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[002] A daytime running lamp is a lighting device provided at a front end of a vehicle for better visibility of the vehicle thereby assisting other vehicle users and pedestrians in earlier detection and better identification of the vehicle. Service access to the daytime running lamp is often required in an off road vehicle for more options given to the customer’s delight. However, accessing, assembling and disassembling the daytime running lamp from the off-road vehicle are often done at dealer end.
[003] Therefore, there exists a need for a system and a method for mounting a daytime running lamp in a vehicle, which obviates the aforementioned drawbacks.
OBJECTS
[004] The principal object of an embodiment herein is to provide a system for mounting a daytime running lamp in a vehicle such as off road vehicle.
[005] Another object of an embodiment herein is to provide a method for mounting the daytime running lamp in the vehicle.
[006] Another object of an embodiment herein is to provide a system for mounting the daytime running lamp in the vehicle, which enables ease of access and assembly and disassembly of the daytime running lamp to user of the vehicle.
[007] Another object of an embodiment herein is to provide a system for mounting the daytime running lamp in the off road vehicle, which allows user of the vehicle to replace the daytime running lamp which is damaged or not working.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0016] The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments that are illustrated in the accompanying drawings and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.
[0017] The embodiments herein achieve a system and a method for mounting a daytime running lamp in a vehicle such as an off road vehicle, which enables ease of access and assembly and disassembly of the daytime running lamp to user of the vehicle. Referring now to the drawings, and more particularly to Figs. 1 through 6, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown embodiments.
[0018] Fig. 1 depicts a perspective view of a system (100) for mounting a daytime running lamp in a vehicle such as off road vehicle, according to embodiments as disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the system (100) includes a first mounting bracket (102), a second mounting bracket (104) and a third mounting bracket (106). For the purpose of this description and ease of understanding, the system (100) is explained herein below with reference to mounting the daytime running lamp (L), (as shown in fig. 2) in the off road vehicle. However, it is also within the scope of the invention to provide the system (100) for mounting the daytime running lamp (L) in any other type of vehicle without otherwise deterring the intended function of the system (100) as can be deduced from the description and corresponding drawings.
[0019] Fig. 3 depicts a perspective view of a first mounting bracket (102), according to embodiments as disclosed herein. The first mounting bracket (102) is connected to a shotgun (S) of the vehicle. The first mounting bracket (102) includes a first portion (102F) and a second portion (102S). The first portion (102F) of the first mounting bracket (102) is coupled to the shotgun (S). The second portion (102S) angularly or transversely extends from the first portion (102F). The second portion (102S) of first mounting bracket (102) defines a plurality of locating portions (102L) and a plurality of lamp mounting holes (102M). Each locating portion (102L) of the first mounting bracket (102) is adapted to facilitate positioning of the daytime running lamp (L) with respect to the first mounting bracket (102) thereby facilitating assembly of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon. Each lamp mounting hole (102M) of the first mounting bracket (102) is adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon.
[0020] Fig. 4 depicts a perspective view of a second mounting bracket (104), according to embodiments as disclosed herein. The second mounting bracket (104) is connected to a fender (F) of the vehicle at a first location. The second mounting bracket (104) includes a first portion (104F) and a second portion (104S). The first portion (104F) of the second mounting bracket (104) is connected to the fender (F) at the first location. The second portion (104S) angularly extends from the first portion (104F). The second portion (104S) of the second mounting bracket (104) defines a lamp mounting hole (104M) adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon.
[0021] Fig. 5 depicts a perspective view of a third mounting bracket (106), according to embodiments as disclosed herein. The third mounting bracket (106) is connected to the fender (F) at a second location. The third mounting bracket (106) includes a first portion (106F) and a second portion (106S). The first portion (106F) of the third mounting bracket (106) is connected to the fender (F) at the second location. The second portion (106S) is connected to the first portion (106F). The second portion (106S) of the third mounting bracket (106) defines a locating portion (106L) and a lamp mounting hole (106M). The locating portion (106L) of the third mounting bracket (106) is adapted to facilitate positioning of the daytime running lamp (L) with respect to the third mounting bracket (106) thereby facilitating assembly of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon. The lamp mounting hole (106M) of the third mounting bracket (106) is adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon. The first location at which the second mounting bracket (104) is connected to the fender (F) is a left side portion of the fender (F). The second location at which the third mounting bracket (106) is connected to the fender (F) is a right side portion of the fender (F).
[0022] The first, second and third mounting brackets (102, 104, 106) are adapted to removably mount the daytime running lamp (L).
[0023] Fig. 6 depicts a flowchart indicating a method (200) for mounting a daytime running lamp (L) in the vehicle such as the off road vehicle, according to embodiments as disclosed herein. For the purpose of this description and ease of understanding, the method (200) is explained herein below with reference to mounting the daytime running lamp (L) in the off road vehicle. However, it is also within the scope of this invention to practice/implement the entire steps of the method (200) in a same manner or in a different manner or with omission of at least one step to the method (200) or with any addition of at least one step to the method (200) for mounting the daytime running lamp (L) in any other type of vehicle without otherwise deterring the intended function of the method (200) as can be deduced from the description and corresponding drawings. At step 202, the method (200) includes connecting a first mounting bracket (102) to a shotgun (S) of the vehicle. At step 204, the method (200) includes connecting a second mounting bracket (104) to a fender (F) of the vehicle at a first location. At step 206, the method (200) includes connecting a third mounting bracket (106) to the fender (F) at a second location. At step 208, the method (200) includes mounting, by, the first, second and third mounting brackets (102, 104, 106), the daytime running lamp (L).
[0024] The technical advantages of the system (100) for mounting the daytime running lamp (L) are as follows. The system (100) enables ease of access and assembly and disassembly of the daytime running lamp to user of the vehicle. The system (100) allows user of the vehicle to replace the daytime running lamp which is damaged or not working.

Therefore, while the embodiments herein have been described in terms of embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the embodiments herein can be practiced with modification within the spirit and scope of the embodiments as described herein.
,CLAIMS:We claim:
1. A system (100) for mounting daytime running lamp (L) in a vehicle, said system (100) comprising:
a first mounting bracket (102) connected to a shotgun (S) of the vehicle;
a second mounting bracket (104) connected to a fender (F) of the vehicle at a first location; and
a third mounting bracket (106) connected to the fender (F) at a second location,
wherein
said first, second and third mounting brackets (102, 104, 106) are adapted to removably mount the daytime running lamp (L).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said first mounting bracket (102) includes a first portion (102F) coupled to the shotgun (S) and a second portion (102S), said second portion (102S) angularly extends from said first portion (102F), where said second portion (102S) defines,
a plurality of locating portions (102L), each of said locating portion (102L) is adapted to facilitate positioning of the daytime running lamp (L) with respect to said first mounting bracket (102) thereby facilitating assembly of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon; and
a plurality of lamp mounting holes (102M), each lamp mounting hole (102M) is adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon.

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said second mounting bracket (104) includes a first portion (104F) connected to the fender (F) at the first location, and a second portion (104S), said second portion (104S) angularly extends from said first portion (104F), where said second portion (104S) defines,
a lamp mounting hole (104M) adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said third mounting bracket (106) includes a first portion (106F) connected to the fender (F) at the second location, and a second portion (106S), said second portion (106S) connected to said first portion (106F), where said second portion (106S) defines,
a locating portion (106L) adapted to facilitate positioning of the daytime running lamp (L) with respect to said third mounting bracket (106) thereby facilitating assembly of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon; and
a lamp mounting hole (106M) adapted to receive corresponding fastener therethrough to facilitate mounting of the daytime running lamp (L) thereon.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first location at which said second mounting bracket (104) is connected to the fender (F) is a left side portion of the fender (F); and
the second location at which said third mounting bracket (106) is connected to the fender (F) is a right side portion of the fender (F).
6. A method (200) for mounting daytime running lamp (L) in a vehicle, said method (200) comprising:
connecting a first mounting bracket (102) to a shotgun (S) of the vehicle;
connecting a second mounting bracket (104) to a fender (F) of the vehicle at a first location;
connecting a third mounting bracket (106) to the fender (F) at a second location; and
mounting, by, the first, second and third mounting brackets (102, 104, 106), the daytime running lamp (L).
