“A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF COMPONENTS OF A VEHICLE”
HERO MOTOCORP LIMITED, an Indian Company at: The Grand Plaza, Plot No.2, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj- Phase -II, New Delhi, India, 110 070
THEFOLLOWINGSPECIFICATION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBES THE INVENTION AND THE MANNER IN WHICH IT IS TO BE PERFORMED.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
[001] The present invention relates to a system and a method for storage and transportation of components of a vehicle, particularly, a system and a method for storage and transportation of components of a two wheeler.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
[002] Conventionally the vehicle, particularly two wheeled vehicle are either transported in a fully assembled mode or in a complete knock down mode. Storing and transporting a fully assembled vehicle consumes a significant amount of space in the cargo, freight or such, resulting in less number of such fully assembled vehicles being transported in each cargo, freight or such. Transporting reduced number of vehicles per cargo, freight or such in a way increases the transportation cost.
[003] In a complete knock down mode, vehicles are generally stored in a “cluster packaging mode”, wherein each component is disposed in a dedicated casing for that component or “one case-one vehicle components packaging mode”, wherein all components of one vehicle are disposed collectively in one casing. Each “cluster packaging mode” and “one case-one vehicle components packaging mode” has its respective disadvantages.
[004] In vehicle there exists a variety of components with varied shape and size and if these components are to packed safely utilizing a cluster packaging mode, it is not viable to utilize the inside space of each casing to its fullest. Even if the casing size is varied to increase components per casing, then also the number of vehicles per cargo, freight or such is not drastically improved.
[005] In “one case-one vehicle components packaging mode”, packaging all components of a vehicle in one casing may aid in utilizing inner space of the casing to its fullest, but packaging all components of a vehicle in one casing requires a casing of a larger size and dimension. As a consequence, the number of vehicles per cargo, freight or such is not drastically improved.
[006] Therefore, it has been desired to overcome at least one of the above-mentioned disadvantages.

As would be apparent to a person in the art, various working modifications may be made to the method in order to implement the inventive concept as taught herein.
[0076] The figures and the forgoing description give examples of embodiments. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that one or more of the described elements may well be combined into a single functional element. Alternatively, certain elements may be split into multiple functional elements. Elements from one embodiment may be added to another embodiment. For example, orders of processes described herein may be changed and are not limited to the manner described herein. Moreover, the actions of any flow diagram need not be implemented in the order shown; nor do all of the acts necessarily need to be performed. Also, those acts that are not dependent on other acts may be performed in parallel with the other acts. The scope of embodiments is by no means limited by these specific examples.
[0077] Numerous variations, whether explicitly given in the specification or not, such as differences in structure, dimension, and use of material, are possible. The scope of embodiments is at least as broad as given by the following claims.
