[0002] Operational management is an area of management concerned with designing and controlling the process of production and redesigning business operations in the production of goods or services. The operational management involves the responsibility of ensuring that business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed and effective in terms of meeting customer requirements. The management is concerned with managing an entire production system which is the process that converts inputs into outputs, as an asset or delivers a product or services. Various operational management systems are utilized at multiple levels in a workshop for successful monitoring of various operations in the workshop.
[0003] Conventionally, manual management operations are performed by employees of the workshop in order to keep the records of various work areas of the workshop such as order management, inventory management, finance management, employee management and business management. However, such operations or techniques are time consuming and prone to error as they require manual efforts of the person working in a workshop.
