, Description:BACKGROUND
[1] Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to an analysis tool, more particularly to, a system and method for a knowledge analysis tool.

[2] There are several types of analytical or knowledge based tests and assessments which are carried out for different purposes. There are several types of question which are used to evaluate different quotients of the test taker. There are several types of evaluation methods as well. One such type includes providing a set of predetermined questions and evaluating the answers and generating a result after a certain period of time. Another type is providing a set of variable questions and evaluating the answers and generating a result after a certain period of time. Variable questions are related to giving a test taker a specific type of question based on their responses to a previous question and based on gradually increasing the difficulty of the question in order to assess the knowledge level of the test taker. These types of test evaluations are all based on individual assessments and individual knowledge level. These assessments may be used for understanding an individual’s capabilities or eligibility for a specific aspect. For example, these evaluations may be used for eligibility of enrolment in college, school or a class, formulating a class plan, or accessing a student’s progress, etc.

[3] However, where a group assessment is required, a relative assessment of the group would be ideal. There are several scenarios in which a group assessment would be beneficial, for example, if there is a need for a speaker or a professor to get an overall assessment of a group, such an assessment would be very beneficial in order to plan a lesson or seminar or a series of lessons or seminars based on relative knowledge level of the group. In such a scenario when a group is provided with a set of questions, having the option to have a real time assessment of the answers would provide sufficient information to get an aggregate knowledge level of a group of people. Group assessments can also be used assess knowledge levels of a group on pre determined timelines.

[4] Hence, there is a need for an improved assessment and analysis tool to address the aforementioned issues.

[32] According to a further embodiment of the system (100) the relative assessment is based on the aggregated knowledge level of the plurality of learners. In conventional assessments, there are standard criteria’s as per which a knowledge level of a learner may be determined. But in case of relative assessment, the knowledge level of learners may be determined with respect to the aggregated knowledge level of the entire group of people rather that a standardized criteria. This provides an overall assessment of the group of people.
[33] According to a further embodiment of the system (100), the graphical representation and tabular representation of the aggregated knowledge level of the plurality of learners may be relatively assessed using specific criteria which may differ from one type of knowledge analysis to the other.
